A Long Distance Engagement

Photographer Tahni Candelaria sent me this sweet engagement shoot. I love that it tells the couple’s story. A bit about them first…

Allie + Barak weren’t dealt the easiest circumstances for the growth of their relationship, but they pushed through it and with such grace. At first, they lived in different cities, and then they lived on different continents as Barak left for Afghanistan to serve the United States for an entire year. They spent time every day, on the telephone, loving each other and building their relationship.

I LOVE that they decided to bring their story into their photos – it really makes them that much more special. Congrats to you both on your upcoming wedding. You can see part 2 of their session here on Tahni’s blog. Oh, and you may remember Tahni, I featured her wedding here :)

A Desert Windmill Engagement
