About Green Wedding Shoes

I’m Jen Campbell and I launched Green Wedding Shoes in October of 2008 as a creative outlet for myself to share my love for gorgeous photography, pretty dresses, vintage details, graphic finds, and other ideas to inspire couples planning their weddings. With formal training in graphic design and art direction, I direct the site with a trained eye for great design and unique color palettes. I have over 10 years of experience working in the interactive/web and print design industries and a roster of clients that ranges from blockbuster motion pictures (Spider-Man, Charlie’s Angeles and Big Fish), to the icons of the sports worlds (ESPN and Yahoo! Sports), to luxury brands (Paul Mitchell and Domaine Chandon), so I understand what premier brands different industries are looking for and need. Now I’m taking that experience and helping couples create a personal brand for themselves, which they can showcase on their wedding day. I love showing couples how their wedding can be more about them and that it’s ok to break traditions to make the day their own.

Green Wedding Shoes, which began as a hobby, has quickly become one of the most popular wedding blogs today. I’m grateful to be surrounded with a great group of wedding bloggers and love that the GWS community of readers is so invested in the site. Every wedding, vendor and project is carefully hand picked and only the most unique and creative are selected to be featured on GWS. It’s my hope that you’ll find inspiration and learn new and creative ways you can make your wedding day a true reflection of you as a couple. My site often focuses on weddings and vendors from Southern California, but I also love seeing weddings from all over the world. I am inspired by the Southern California lifestyle, fashion designers, stylists, musicians, and photography.

I live in Los Angeles, Ca with my adorable + super supportive husband Jason, who also helps with advertising, business and site development for Green Wedding Shoes. I also offer event design and styling for weddings, photos shoots, and other social events. Please contact me if you are interested in any of those options.
