What Happens In Vegas: This Sweet-Yet-Edgy Elopement Was Pastel Nostalgia Reimagined

Ah, the classic Las Vegas elopement 💕🎲 From Elvis + Priscilla Presley to Paul Newman + Joanne Woodward to Kourtney Kardashian + Travis Barker, couples can’t resist the impulsive allure of saying “I do” on The Vegas Strip, and we SO understand why.

We’re suckers for elopements of any sort (Just the two of you?! SO romantic!), and Vegas has proven itself the rightful elopement capitol, so we can’t resist sharing when we see something as fiercely unique as this irreverently vintage, nontraditionally sweet-yet-sexy elopement photoshoot. 

Planned + designed by Cara Mia and styled by Gown Eyed Girl, this edgy, nostalgic pastel dream of an elopement editorial was a love letter to the non-conforming individuality of the Las Vegas elopement tradition. “We wanted to show how Vegas lets personality shine in any way you want it to,” say Camden + Hailey, the photographers behind CRTVDUO and this stunning Sin City shoot.

This team of wedding visionaries picked the perfect multi-space venue, Sure Thing Chapel (with two distinct blue + pink chapel locations just down the street from each other), to show off how innately versatile an elopement can be. “Each Sure Thing location has similarities, but they are both so unique,” Camden + Hailey say of the two different vibes, “so we shot the same couple in different looks at each location to really show all of the things you can do.” 

“The goal of this shoot,” the photographers say, “is to show people how important it is to let your personality become the forefront of your wedding day and to make it your own.”
