Here at GWS, we see a whole LOT of creativity and unique innovations when it comes to weddings and overall design. Our hearts go pitter-patter for big days that serve as a reflection of the couple…when you can *see* their relationship infused into every detail and aspect. We want to encourage YOU + your love to shake things up, do things differently, and make your wedding your own. And so, my friends, today we’re giving you a major dose of jaw-dropping inspiration from 2018.
It’s our job to keep a pulse of what’s going on and what trends are emerging. Curious to know what we saw in 2018? Wild overgrown florals—for the tablescape, the backdrop, and even interiors—essentially foliage that makes it feel like you’re one with nature. Celestial influences played a MAJOR role in 2018—tablescapes, backdrops, escort card designs, and more…they really shot for the stars with this one! Pampas grass, and a profusion of it; though that’s really no surprise—we’ve been seeing pampas grass creep into floral designs over the past couple years and it’s proving to be quite versatile. Along with that, we saw a ton of (large) hanging installations over the table (oftentimes featuring pampas grass for texture). Plus, we noticed quite a few unique backdrops for the ceremony and creative escort card displays.
