21 Unique Ways to Include Pampas Grass in Your Wedding Decor

pampas grass in wedding decor

It’s taken over the pages of Green Wedding Shoes and our boho-wedding-lovin’ hearts: pampas grass! The greatest floral trend that’s already happening in weddings from California to Australia, this ornamental grass is native to South America and grows 10 to 13 feet high with a six-foot wing span. We’re spotting it in every aspect of wedding decor, thanks to it’s versatility and range. Pampas grass comes in colors that range from sandy-pink to silvery-white, and it’s feather-like texture makes it especially lovely whether fresh or in dried arrangements.

Where to Buy Pampas Grass

It’s always best to source locally from your florist or flower shop, and be sure to do a bit of research before hand. Pampas grass is an aggressive plant — each stem can be home to upwards of 500 seeds! A quick Google search about pampas grass in your area should tell you if it’s a welcome plant or on the no-go list.

You can also buy pampas grass (fresh or dried!) online. Here are a few resources:

We’ve selected 21 unique examples of how to include this feathery find in different aspects of your wedding decor. From start to that sweet, sweet finish, we’re in love with this billowy bushel of goodness!
