Have you heard of Marfa, Texas? There’s a good chance you haven’t… as it’s kind of in the middle of nowhere, but there’s also a good chance you have — as it’s been kind of on the radar recently for fun + quirky places to visit! Well today we’re heading just there for one of the sweetest vow renewals we’ve ever seen!
Meet Bianca + Spencer; this lovely couple has been married for one year and wanted to have a day of celebration, where they focused on each other, their love, and creating a lifetime of memories. They spent the morning getting ready together in an Airstream, wrote their own vows, and helped each other get dressed… Talk about dreamy. With the help of event designer + planner Maxwell and Gray Studio
Just wait until you see all the snaps captured by Lauren Sparger!
We’re LOVING that acrylic sheet with the hand lettering done by Paise and Haze!
How sweet is this?!
Our most memorable moment was the fact that we got to spend time together before getting the dress and suit on. We laid in bed together, wrote our own vows, and then helped each other get dressed. That time was very special to us to allow us to relax before the ceremony.
And the winner for coolest couple ever goes to…
The perfect amount of rustic for all that romance… We’re big fans of using pampas grass to frame a backdrop/space!
The ceremony was set up on top of a mountain with a handmade honeycomb altar made by Sugar Creek Vintage Retnals… they exchanged their vows and Spencer serenaded his wife with his guitar!
Bianca shares: We wanted to make our day about us and travel to a place that we felt connected to. Marfa, Texas is such a laid-back, quirky town so we thought it was perfect to renew our vows there!
Tersilla & Co absolutely NAILED the floral design! White proteas, pampas grass, textured greenery, and antique roses? Love, love, love.

Anthropologie provided their plates, glasses, and table décor, and Dallas local, Woven Whale, handmade all the macramé placemats!
That golden light + these two gorgeous people… So darling!
Our advice is to do what you want and don't let others tell you how to have your wedding! If you want to get ready together – do it! If you want to hike on top of a mountain to share your vows – do it! You won't regret having your wedding the way you really want it.
For those wondering about Bianca’s spectacular dress, its the Rue de Seine ‘Ruby Margaux Moonlight Magic,’ from Lovely Bride.
Last, but certainly not least, they topped off the day with this extraordinary cake from Layered Bake Shop!
Cheers to that!! Happy anniversary to the both of you!
