There’s something about the crispness of the autumn air and the way the leaves begin to shift hues…something that seems to ignite creativity, yet brings upon a sense of nostalgia. You know that feeling? Wanting to play up the colorful changing leaves, while honoring that sort of nostalgic vibe and introduce a modern twist, photographer Jenny Haas teamed up with Caroline of Passi Flora for today’s STUNNING editorial.
Jenny tells us: To go with all things fall, we incorporated acorns on the cake and it totally fit with our tablescape and the leftover nut scraps we used to adorn it. We added in dried oranges for a pop of color, and sweet velvet ribbon—for the bouquet and to tie the napkins—which added a brilliant contrast of color.

The Outfits
For the bride, they chose a neutral gown, which we thinks complements the autumnal palette so perfectly. Plus, you can’t go wrong with the romantic off-the-shoulder style.

Texture, on texture, on texture!! We adore how Passi Flora Studio wove in the creamy hues and touches of greenery to round out this light and airy fall bouquet.

The Florals
Bringing fall indoors, Passi Flora Studio crafted a wild floral installation for both the table + hanging above!
The Tablescape
And that, my friends, is how you bring in pops of color to an autumn palette—burnt orange, rich magenta and burgundy, with playful pinks.

For the floral installation above, it was all about mimicking the hues below, but then adding in tons of texture in the form of yellow and orange leaves, berries, and an assortment of grasses.
The Cake
We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention that stellar cake…with again, ALL THE TEXTURE! Miam Cake added a surprising element with this subdued gray and creamy cake, with a delicate floral pattern.
