“Fate brought us together in the vast, windswept expanse of the Burning Man in 2022,” recalls bride Marina of the day she and groom Yaniv found one another. “We literally collided with one another, sparking conversation and connection. Twelve hours later, we were engaged!”
From that kismet festival moment sprang a love story that led to one of the most incredible destination weddings we’ve ever seen.
Marina Dobreva (founder of globally-inspired, handcrafted accessories brand Mimilore) and Yaniv Tal, (co-founder of blockchain startup The Graph) knew they wanted all of their favorite people gathered in one breathtaking place to celebrate their love (and look incredible while they were doing it). So the fashion-forward couple flew 50 of their closest friends to Jalisco, Mexico on private jets for a week’s worth of breathtaking wedding events.
Nestled in the lush green foothills of a volcano with the seaside not far away, the palatial Hacienda de San Antonio perfectly supported the scale + opulence of Marina + Yaniv’s 200-guest wedding day. There were towering mirrored pillars on the beach. There were dazzling outdoor chandeliers dripping with flowers. The wedding day fashion curated by stylist Raven Kauffman was nothing short of sublime.
And Pablo Laguía was there capturing all of these absolutely stunning pictures.
“The wedding was not just an event,” Marina says, “but a statement of love, creativity, and the extraordinary worlds we have built together.”

Marina’s back-draped pearl necklace was the work of Michael Schmidt Studios, and her pearly teardrop wedding earrings were by Saint Laurent.

Marina’s strapless corset bodice wedding gown was by Lihi Hod. We are so into the almost hyper-bridal aesthetic of that densely tiered tulle skirt.
Yaniv looked so sharp in an all-white tuxedo by Isaia which he paired with a shirt from Tom Ford and cufflinks by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany.
“Ceremony of Reflection”
The striking ceremony setup surrounded guests with white and green florals and mirrored columns that reflected back the jungle, the ocean, and the sky.
Monochrome white florals like these are one of our fave floral design trends of the moment. So ethereal yet super elegant!
“The celebration was intended to be equal parts intimate and spectacular,” Marina says.

Marina + Yaniv timed the ceremony perfectly with the sunset. Just look at those candles glowing in the twilight as they headed back up the aisle!

“Reception Enchanted”
The way these flowers were worked into the reception’s lighting is absolutely stunning.

Talk about enchanted outdoor opulence: Marina + Yaniv’s guests enjoyed caviar and champagne under the twinkling crystal chandeliers.
Among the 200 guests invited to the couple’s wedding day were Sergey Brin (ex-CEO of Google), Marian Goodell (CEO of Burning Man), Alexander Diaz (Creative Director of ATRA Studios), art curator and public figure Gaïa Matisse, Sierra Quitiquit, (activist, pro-skier and model), Christian Lamb (producer), popular music producer and DJ Diplo, Artem Del Castillo (founder of luxury brand Delos), influencer and activist Sutana Anisimov, and celebrity dermatologist Dr. Shawana Vali.
Marina’s spectacular beaded low back reception dress was by Berta.
And the couple danced the night away to musical performances by Sly 5th Avenue. The couple’s first dances were nods to their roots with a traditional Bulgarian song for the bride and French standard “La Vie en Rose” for the groom.
We can’t think of a more perfect pair of wedding shoes for this look than Marina’s Sophia Webster “Perla” platform heels.
“Shine Your Shine”
Later that evening, the beachfront area was transformed into “Shine Your Shine”, a Studio 54-inspired after party. Guests dressed in metallic ensembles and partied beneath a MASSIVE, dazzling disco heart installation.
Glowing luminaries filled the property’s sprawling lawns!
Marina shimmered at the after party in a tunic by Michael Schmidt Studios and a Dolce and Gabbana bikini.
