Pull up your wedding Pinterest board, because we’re breaking down the wedding flower trends that are blossoming in 2025!
Your floral arrangements are so much more than decor — they set the mood for your entire celebration, bringing your love story to life with every petal. This is especially true for 2025, as wedding flowers are becoming more personal, intentional, and unique than ever before. From simple eye-catching stems to dreamy boho-inspired arrangements, there’s a trending style for every 2025 couple.
So to help you choose the best floral design for your big day, we chatted with a few wedding industry experts to get their take on what’s trending and how to make it your own. Bring on the blooms!
1. “Mocha Mousse” Accents

We’re predicting “mocha mousse” — Pantone’s official color of the year — to be one of the top wedding trends for 2025, from bridesmaid dresses to reception decor. And yes, that includes flower arrangements!
“As we look ahead to 2025, wedding floral trends are set to flourish with a captivating palette featuring mocha mousse, the 2025 Pantone Color of the Year, which brings a sense of harmony as a neutral foundation,” says Isolda Marie Tilson of ModWedding Studios.
Tilson suggests pairing this warm minimalist hue with brighter colors for a dreamy contrast. “This softer, muted shade of chocolate pairs beautifully with vibrant arrangements of white and coral orange roses, complemented by deeper shades of orange and blush pink dahlias that add a fun burst of energy.”
Want something a bit softer and sweeter for your wedding florals? Mocha mousse also looks gorgeous with muted greens and blues, like succulents (a great cost-effective option!), eucalyptus, or blue thistle. “These floral designs will create a delightful wild English garden vibe, ensuring that florals remain a focal point of your celebration,” explains Tilson.
2. Minimalistic Flower Arrangements

After years of over-the-top florals and maximalist bouquets, we’re seeing a return to more minimalist floral arrangements trending for 2025 weddings. Because sometimes less really is more!
“Minimalism is making a bold statement in 2025 with long-stemmed single flowers and monochromatic neutral palettes leading the way,” states Wedding Photographer Masha Sakhno. “Picture a single, sculptural bloom in a sleek vase or a minimalist bouquet that draws attention to the natural elegance of each stem. These designs feel effortlessly modern and timeless, offering couples a way to embrace florals without overwhelming their aesthetic.”
Sleek and sophisticated, this understated wedding flower trend is all about quality over quantity. For a simple look that’s anything but boring, opt for unique flowers that stand out or striking colors that make a statement. With the right blooms, a little goes a long way!
3. Monochromatic Color Palettes

Speaking of minimalist trends, this is another simple way to make a big impression with your wedding florals in 2025. While last year saw all things colorful and rainbow-themed, this year’s trends are shifting to simple and striking arrangements — and monochrome color schemes make the ultimate dramatic statement!
“For couples that prefer a more minimalistic color palette but still want an elevated and sophisticated contrast to their tablescapes, a monochromatic approach is a perfect direction,” shares Kelly Soule of Kelly Elizabeth Events. “2024 was the year of mixed color use, but in 2025, we find our clients becoming more intentional with their color selections and using them in various shades to create a modern, textured look throughout installations, table pieces, and even personal flowers.” Simple, but SO effective!
Wedding Photographer Ashley Akin of Kay x Bee is also a huge fan of this wedding flower trend for 2025, especially from a photography standpoint. “We’re seeing the most incredible architectural drama being created with these monochromatic moments,” she says. “As someone who’s photographed hundreds of celebrations, I love how these pieces transform any corner of a venue into an absolute showstopper.”
4. Live Tablescapes

With garden party weddings trending for 2025, it should come as no surprise that modern couples are ditching the tidy and structured design of traditional flower arrangements for something more organic, lush, and free-spirited. Because why settle for a few stems when you could have the entire garden?
“Instead of neat arrangements in vases, some designers are creating a living centerpiece — mixing in fruit or other plants,” says Jessica Evans, Lead Florist for First Class Designs. “These centerpieces feel as if they have grown from the table and add a natural and organic feel to the reception space.”
With this 2025 wedding flower trend, your tables will have a blossoming, overgrown look, almost like your guests have stumbled into a secret garden. One word: magic.
5. Texture Over Color

As Nora Sheils, Founder of Bridal Bliss + Co-Founder of Rock Paper Coin, says, “2025 is the year of texture!” With more minimalist flower arrangements and simple floral color schemes trending for 2025 weddings, couples are adding interest with textural elements instead. Think: layered stems, mismatched flowers, and the addition of fabrics to elevate a tablescape.
“Layers of greenery, grasses, and unique blooms like protea and anthuriums are being used to add dimension and interest,” says Jennifer Cortiella of Cortiella Photography.
The result? An eclectic meets elegant vibe! “The aesthetic has a relaxed feel but can still come off as elevated,” explains Sheils. Plus, this trend can also be more budget-friendly, too. “The beauty is that couples can include more foliage and less floral and still get the wow-factor they are after.”
6. Wildflower Wedding Aesthetics

Keeping with the eclectic, free-spirited vibe, wildflower aesthetics are also a major flower trend for 2025 weddings, and we are in love. Rather than ultra polished and precise bouquets, this style embraces the beauty of nature and all of its wild, organic freedom. If you’re still in your cottagecore era, then this is the wedding flower trend for you!
In the words of Ashley Akin, “Your bouquet can feel as natural and effortless as your love story!” She especially loves the ethereal romance of this wildflower look. “Imagine walking down the aisle with a bouquet that looks like you just gathered it from the most magical garden, with flowers cascading naturally and moving with you throughout your celebration.” So dreamy!
For boho couples who want to infuse their big day with all the whimsy and romance of a meadow of wildflowers, look no further. “These romantic, asymmetrical designs let you embrace the natural beauty of your flowers while adding movement and personality to every moment of your day,” says Akin. “It’s a beautiful way to bring your unique style to this classic wedding tradition!”
7. Ikebana Style Wedding Flower Trend

“Goodbye bud vases, hello ikebana style centerpieces,” says Jessica Evans. If you’re not familiar, ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of arranging flowers in a way that’s meaningful and intentional — almost like a floral sculpture. With this style, your arrangements are designed to spark joy and convey a specific meaning through color, movement, shape, and balance.
While the ikebana style is typically more simple and minimalist than classic wedding arrangements, these flower designs can also make a bigger impact. They’re inspired by nature, the season, and emotion, resulting in a distinct look that everyone will be swooning over.
As Evans explains, “These small arrangements have a very specific shape and style that doesn’t need to utilize a ton of blooms, making it cost effective for those budget brides who still want real flowers.” Eye-catching and budget-friendly? We love to see it!
8. Cascading Floral Arrangements

On the other end of the spectrum, this 2025 wedding flower trend embraces the “more the merrier” motto. Like lush waterfalls in flower form, these cascading flower arrangements look like they’re overflowing with bright blooms and fresh petals.
“Nothing says opulence and abundance like a cascade of blooms,” says Jessica Evans. As she explains, this trend features “huge installations that fit with the architecture of the venue but with an emphasis on a waterfall appearance.”
We’re especially seeing couples incorporate this trend into their reception tablescapes, with blossoming centerpieces that cascade off the ends of the tables. It’s a lavish and eye-catching design that all your guests will be swooning over!
9. Complex Colors

When it comes to 2025 wedding trends, no colors are off-limits — especially for your flower arrangements! We love seeing modern couples show off their unique personalities with unexpected colorways that reflect their love story, rather than simply following the latest trends.
As Ashely Akin says, “Your wedding day can be a reflection of your personality, and 2025 couples are embracing this like never before! You’re no longer limited to playing it safe with just two or three shades in your florals. We’re seeing the most incredible, mood-lifting palettes where you can mix unexpected color combinations that speak to your style.”
And truly any color combo goes. “Whether you’re drawn to vibrant fuchsias paired with sunny yellows or deep purples dancing with coral, your florals can tell your unique color story,” shares Akin.
With colorful arrangements trending in such a fresh and unique way, couples are leaning into the bold look. “Bright, saturated hues are replacing pastels, creating vibrant, joyful atmospheres,” says Jennifer Cortiella. 10. Sustainable Wedding Flower Trend

For couples planning a wedding in 2025, sustainability has never been more top of mind. And since wedding flower arrangements haven’t always been known for their positive environmental impact, more eco-conscious alternatives are trending for the new year (and beyond!).
“Eco-conscious weddings are on the rise, with locally sourced flowers, reusable arrangements, and potted plants taking center stage,” says Cortiella. “Couples are also using dried and preserved blooms. These long-lasting options are being incorporated into everything from bouquets to archways for a modern yet timeless look.”
Not only is this trend a win for sustainability, but these flower arrangements also double as meaningful keepsakes after the wedding day! With dried blooms and potted plants, your wedding florals can have a second life as beautiful home decor.
