The 10 Most Popular Weddings of 2019

It’s the most fun time of year for us at GWS because we get to relive all our favorite wedding moments of 2019! And we are officially kicking off our “best of” lists with the biggest one of all: the most clicked on, loved, and visited weddings we featured all year! It’s so fun to see what you guys loved. And these lists tend to kick off the next big trends in weddings, so there’s plenty of inspiration and amazing vendors here to make your 2020 wedding one for the books. Or, perhaps, our top 10 list? Ya never know!

Counting down from 10 to number 1, here were the most popular weddings on GWS in 2019!

10. A Magical Elopement Near Turquoise Waters

One look and it’s clear why this elopement comes in at number 10! Bella + Jake’s adventurous elopement against the turquoise waters of Lake Louise in Alberta is downright EPIC.

9. This Snowy Boho Elopement was Planned in Two Weeks!

Looks like you guys are just as intrigued by a quick timeline as we are! When it all comes together this beautifully (that dress!), it’s no wonder Talia + Stefan’s day broke the top 10.

8. A Celestial-Inspired Wedding with…Kitten Accents!!

We’re not kitten when we say this is ONE original wedding. Kittens + outer space?! Noelle + Joe’s wedding is cute AND out of this world.

7. Eclectic + Wild Wedding in the Redwoods with Tons of Colorful Details

Hundreds of handmade tassels, rad bridal style, and a dreamy private Redwood grove had us all awestruck this year. And Joanna + Packy’s colorful day only fuels the hoop bouquet trend!

6. Desert-Meets-Tropical Wedding in Palm Springs with Mustard Hues

If it were a Friends episode, it’d be called The One with the Yellow Bridesmaids. We LOVE this look — and it appears you do, too. But let’s not forget all the other pretty details from Nicole + Brian’s wedding..and the fact that she chopped her hair for the reception!

And speaking of yellow…! Bree’s a free-spirited adventurer with a sweet spot for fashion, Brock’s a surfer who’s love for family runs deep — together, they are a literal California dream come true. And so was their wedding! (PS: The video will you make you laugh and cry.)

4. Minimalistic + Modern Cityscape Wedding with Greenery + Glam Details

This one stands out as a minimalist, industrial, glam wedding among the bunch! Leah + Luigi’s wed against the twinkling lights of New York City and it just doesn’t get more romantic than that.

3. A Glamping Wedding Full of Wonder + Whimsy for Bohemian Lovers

For some, bohemian is a style and for others, it’s a life. Christina + Tom fall into the latter category and their wedding gave us all the whimsy and wanderlust vibes!

Rocky is already style goals so it’s no surprise that you guys were eager to see her wedding looks! A cross between classic + contemporary, Rocky + Matthew’s day comes in at number 2!
