Picture an iconic music festival on a sun-drenched sandy beach. Now add an ocean wedding ceremony, multiple designer gowns, and a wedding cake you have to see to believe. That was the unforgettable vibe of Paige Mycoskie and Jessica Martin’s wedding weekend in Mexico!
“When Paige and Jess approached us to plan their wedding, they made it clear: they didn’t want a wedding — they wanted an experience,” said Manda of Mae&Co Creative, who handled the full planning and design of this immersive wedding weekend.
Every moment of the three-day celebration centered around the couple’s unique love story, from the wild performances at their jungle welcome party to their old Hollywood glamour rehearsal dinner to their dance-fueled wedding reception on the beach (where guests wore hoodies from Paige’s California lifestyle brand, Aviator Nation).
Captured by photographer Jose Villa, the wedding day was as bold and electric as the couple themselves, and we can’t wait to show you all the show-stopping details! Keep scrolling for an exclusive look into Jess and Paige’s festival-inspired celebration, complete with custom gowns, ocean views, and a star-studded concert on the sand.
The Bold Details

We love these bright and bold wedding invitations from nūbo studio! Neon yellow and bold green are two of our top wedding color trends for 2025, and together they have a vibrant look that’s perfect for a tropical celebration.

What do you get when an iconic fashion designer creates her own wedding dress? THIS dazzling beauty!
“Paige designed her wedding dress from scratch and it was sewn in Los Angeles by a seamstress/ designer at Galia Lahav studio,” said Manda of Mae&Co Creative. “The dress has cutouts on the side that resemble designs on her surfboards and both sides have subtle lightning bolts peaking through the sheer mesh. The bolts are one of Paige’s first designs and have been a hero design of her brand Aviator Nation for the past 19 years.“

Paige also designed this rad wedding veil, which features dozens of beaded lightning bolts. Check out more of our favorite unique wedding veils here!

For her statement wedding day look, Jess rocked this gorgeous embellished mermaid gown from J. Andreatta. More feather wedding dresses in 2025!

A Tropical First Look

The couple hosted their three-day wedding weekend at the luxurious One&Only Mandarina on Mexico’s Pacific coast. Lush and elegant, this cliffside resort was the perfect backdrop for their romantic first look.

All smiles during this romantic moment! If you’ve been debating whether to have a first look, consider this your sign.

A Magical Ocean Ceremony

Saying “I do” in the middle of the ocean? Yep, this is what dreams are made of.
“Paige and Jess always envisioned saying their vows at the end of the One&Only Mandarina jetty, and we made it happen for them by bringing in a 90-person production crew, VVR Pro, to rebuild and extend the platform, as well as adding custom flooring to the entire walkway,” Manda told us.

Major aisle style! Tropical greenery from Studio Mondine gave this wedding aisle a wild, overgrown look, like walking through a magical jungle.

“At the altar stood massive ten-foot-tall crystal clusters that we had custom-made to match Paige and Jess’ vision,” said Manda. Manifesting more ethereal wedding backdrops in our future!

The dress code for Jess and Paige’s wedding was black tie, but with a glamorous gold twist. We love the contrast of the luxurious attire with the wild natural surroundings.

To add to the magical moment, Aragon Artists brought in professional violinists to serenade the guests as they entered the ceremony.

Let the ceremony begin!

The rolling waves. The panoramic views. The tropical greenery. We’re suckers for unique aisle decor ideas, and this ocean ceremony was straight out of our wildest dreams!

You may now kiss the bride!

This is what we call perfect timing! Crashing waves created an unexpected backdrop as Paige and Jess officially became Mrs. and Mrs. Such a dreamy moment captured by photographer Jose Villa!

A Glamorous Old Hollywood Reception

First comes marriage, second comes party! After the ceremony, guests continued the celebrations at this glamorous open-air wedding reception on the beach.
“The reception followed in true Paige-and-Jess fashion: a checkerboard dance floor (a nod to Paige’s Aviator Nation stores), branded velour napkins, and a three-level seating arrangement built over the Jetty Beach Club,” said Manda.

This tablescape is giving us Old Hollywood vibes in the best way possible.

Tropical. Floral. Centerpieces. Need we go on?

From the dramatic drapery to velvet decor to the lush greenery, Jess and Paige’s reception was a luxury oasis in and of itself. We’re especially digging those gold leopard statues!

The main centerpiece of the night? The custom red and blue stage, which gave the entire reception a rad music festival feel.
“Paige designed the concept for the stage herself — an Old Hollywood-style backdrop dripping in velvet and drama — and we commissioned full production to build it out,” Manda explained.

But our favorite detail from the reception has to be this iconic wedding cake!

“One of the most jaw-dropping reception elements was the cake,” said Manda. “Paige personally designed the visual concept: a hyper-realistic, oversized tiger sculpture that felt like an art piece straight out of a dream.”

“We flew in The Cake Architect from the UK, who spent an entire week on-site constructing the massive four-foot-wide, three-foot-tall cake. It was unexpected, larger-than-life, and exactly the kind of magic Paige and Jess wanted infused into every single detail,” Manda told us.

Also on display were surreal sculptures, glamorous personal touches, and unforgettable entertainment….like this dancer atop a giant gold martini glass.
“We brought in a sultry burlesque act to give guests a cheeky, showstopping performance, while Bien and Zella Day serenaded the dinner portion of the evening with live renditions of the couple’s most meaningful songs,” said Manda.
A Music Festival After Party

Cue the fireworks! After dinner, the reception transformed into PJ Love Fest, a private beachfront music festival that would put any concert venue to shame.

“To close out the celebration, we created a full concert experience on the beach,” Manda explained. “Paige chose the musical lineup herself, including Lyrah, Ayokay, and Elderbrook, and we worked with production and Aragon Artists to build out a massive performance space complete with a 56-foot, three-panel LED backdrop.”

“The stage was built five feet off the ground and overlooked the ocean, giving the performances an epic backdrop as guests danced barefoot into the early morning hours,” said Manda.

From live rock bands to sexy burlesque performers, unique entertainment is one of our top wedding trends for 2025!

POV: all your wedding dreams have come true!
Mae&Co Creative succeeded in bringing Jess and Paige’s wedding vision to life, down to the unique arcade games that guests played during the reception. “They dreamed big, and we did everything to match that energy,” said Manda.

Time for an outfit change! As they hit the dancefloor, Jess and Paige swapped their floor-length gowns for dazzling after-party dresses. Paige worked with the same designer and seamstress from the Galia Lahav studio to create her star-studded dress, and the result was out of this world.

The finishing touch to their after-party looks? These custom bridal sneakers! The couple’s Golden Goose shoes were designed by Paige and hand-painted with glitter details and custom wedding logos.

Guests also changed into dance-ready outfits…featuring iconic pieces from Paige’s Aviator Nation brand, like this puffer jacket. So fun!

When it came to their perfect wedding, Paige and Jess dreamed of an “immersive, boundary-pushing celebration that would reflect their love, their story, and the things they care about most: music, design, the people in their life, and not doing anything halfway,” said Manda. “And it all came together to create a celebration that was truly one-of-a-kind.”
