According to Jessica Evans, Creative Director of Fitzgerald Hospitality Group, “In 2025, I think we’re going to see a continuation of spring green being used as a neutral. Couples have been moving away from the sage and eucalyptus towards a brighter green.” Her favorite way to embrace the trend? With unique and vibrant flowers, like anthurium, amaranthus, and hydrangeas. Perfect for a garden theme!
Editorial Wedding Photographer Masha Sakhno is also seeing this fresh color make its way into weddings as a show-stopping accent. “Bright green is all about making a statement, and when styled thoughtfully, it’s a trend you won’t want to miss in 2025,” she says. “Incorporate it into your day with vibrant green stationery details — think menus, place cards, or envelopes that set the tone for a modern celebration. To tie it all together, echo the color in your table design with eye-catching green chargers, glassware, or napkins, balanced with bright whites for contrast.”
3. Lemon Yellow
The bright color trend continues with this sunny yellow hue — aka, the dreamiest shade for warm weather weddings! “We’re going to see more vibrant yellows taking center stage, ranging from butter to lemon and every shade in between,” says Evans. Talk about a color palette that sparks joy!
For an extra fresh and trendy look, lean into the citrus-inspired color scheme by adding pops of yellow throughout your wedding, from your napkins to your accessories.
“Couples are incorporating these hues into floral arrangements, fashion choices, and wedding design,” says Jason Jackson, President & COO of Generation Tux. He’s even seen grooms embrace the lemony hue with bright ties and colorful jackets. Such a rad way to add some personality to your look!
4. Romantic Pastels
Neon colors not your jam? No prob! Romantic pastels are also trending for 2025 weddings, perfect if you want to take a softer approach to your color palette. With shades like peach, lavender, and matcha taking center stage, it’s the best way to add some color to your big day without going over the top.
“Peach fuzz might have been the color of 2024, but I think it’s here to stay for a while,” says Evans. “Pair it with soft whites and blues for a romantic palette. Want to up the vibrancy? Incorporate lavender and light green for retro vibes.”
Wedding photographer Jennifer Cortiella agrees, naming lavender the must-have wedding color for 2025. “A softer take on purple, this delicate shade is whimsical and romantic,” she says. Embrace the dreamy hue for your big day with lilac wedding shoes, bouquet ribbons, or even lavender uplighting to create a dreamy ambiance.
Have a sweet tooth? “Lavender-flavored macarons or a lilac ombré cake will steal the spotlight,” says Cortiella. YUM.
5. Terracotta
Calling all boho babes! If you want your 2025 wedding to feel as relaxed, free-spirited, and chic as your personal style, look no further than this trending color. Yes, we’re talking about terracotta!
“This warm, earthy hue strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and rustic charm,” says Cortiella. Like the bohemian version of a classic neutral hue, it instantly elevates any wedding decor. Cortiella suggests blending terracotta roses with blush peonies for a romantic bouquet, or pairing terracotta napkins with gold accents and textured linens for a rich tablescape.
Nora Sheils, Founder of Bridal Bliss + Co-Founder of Rock Paper Coin, also loves the relaxed yet elevated feel of terracotta and other earth tones. “It’s a wonderful palette to mix natural elements, floral or not,” she says. “This can be incorporated in countless ways in a wedding design, from paper products, to table settings, to terracotta wedding party attire, to linens; the options are endless!”
6. Misty Blue
With this 2025 color trend, you can make your “something blue” your entire wedding color palette! Soft and romantic, this misty blue hue is a timeless and versatile choice for your “I do”s. Whether you’re planning a beach wedding, winter nuptials, or a vintage regencycore-inspired day, this color will add an elevated touch to your design.
“This serene and soft shade of blue channels tranquility and sophistication,” says Cortiella. Incorporate it into your wedding day with a misty blue stationery suite, tapered candles, or elegant ribbon details. It’s also a gorgeous color scheme for your cake design — “opt for a minimalist cake with misty blue watercolor details,” suggests Cortiella.
