This Tropical Cabo Wedding Was a Kaleidoscope of Lush Vibrant Hues

Molly and Brian’s Cabo wedding weekend was a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors, lush flowers, and unique personal touches. Every dopamine-inducing detail was an ode to their love story, from the “something blue” rehearsal dinner to the tropical after-party under the stars. Safe to say that joy was sparked!

“This Cabo wedding hit that rare sweet spot: stylish but never stuffy, luxurious but never impersonal, and completely, unapologetically them,” says Marie Camilli of Amy Abbott Events, the planners behind the sun-drenched celebration.

The “Something Blue” Welcome Celebration

Molly and Brian kicked off their color-fueled wedding weekend with a white welcome party — complete with custom hats and a surprise fireworks show — before celebrating with a “something blue” reception dinner.

“For our rehearsal dinner, we wanted an intimate event that highlighted our joint favorite color, blue!” said Molly. These bold blue seating chart ideas definitely set the tone for the celebration!

Continuing the theme, Molly and Brian opted for minimalist table decor featuring bright pops of blue hues.

“We also added the personal touch of custom M&B maracas at everyone’s plate,” shares Molly. Such a fun idea for your wedding favors!

For the couple, these welcome festivities were a full-circle moment for their relationship.

“We actually met at our best friends’ wedding in East Hampton in September of 2021,” they told us. “Molly’s very best friend from college married one of Brian’s best friends from high school. We met at the welcome party and ended up having a little dance floor makeout at the afterparty of the wedding.”

And the rest is history!

The Lush Flower-Filled Ceremony

Now for the main event: Molly and Brian’s tropical, sunset-hued wedding day! These gorgeous custom wedding invitations by Emily Mayne Studio set the scene with vivid colors and gorgeous custom illustrations.

“Set across three iconic Cabo venues — including the lush, sun-drenched grounds of Flora Farms — the day brought together vibrant design, fashion-forward details, and real, unfiltered joy,” says planner Marie Camilli of Amy Abbott Events.

Goodbye bridesmaid robes, hello bridesmaid PJs!

For her statement bridal style, Molly opted for this gorgeous strapless wedding dress from Lela Rose, featuring a dramatic bow detail in the back.

“It was the first dress I tried on and I absolutely loved it. It was simple but the detail was so beautiful and feminine, and it felt so me but also so on theme with Cabo!” she says. “I ended up trying on several more dresses to be sure, but realized quickly that was my wedding dress.”

Molly’s bridal party also embraced the Cabo theme with mismatched floral bridesmaid dresses in a bright pink and orange color palette. Obsessed!

For Brian’s crew, the vibe was casual and cool with neutral groomsmen suits….

…and a pre-wedding toast!

The couple’s vision for the ceremony was feminine and colorful, and this aisle style definitely delivered. “I honestly had to catch my breath when I turned the corner to walk down the aisle,” Molly says.

Cristina G Flowers created the explosion of pinks, oranges, and soft nudes — like a tropical sunset in flower form!

One of Molly’s favorite details from the ceremony? Wearing the same veil as her sister, which was embroidered with both of their wedding dates and initials. “Being so very close to my sister, it was such a wonderful way to honor our close relationship and hopefully start a tradition,” she says.

The Bright + Tropical Outdoor Reception

Sunset hues glowed across every detail at this stunning outdoor reception, from the modern seating chart to the tropical florals.

And yes, even the bar!

“One of my favorite little touches were our signature cocktails to honor both sides of the family – the Team Williams Tini and the Stelmargarita!” says Molly. Consider this your sign to create your own custom wedding cocktails!

For their table decor, Molly and Brian channeled lush tropical vibes with a clean modern twist.

And a few playful touches! Loving these funky table wedding signs, which pop against the sleek white tablecloths.

A gold star to anyone who’s noticed this custom monogram popping up throughout the couple’s wedding design!

“For the wedding day, we love a good monogram motif, so we used ours on everything! From the flower petal cones to the programs to the plastic dance floor cups to the custom cocktail napkins,” Molly told us.

Did someone say wedding appetizers? One word: YUM.

But for Molly and Brian, the best detail from the entire reception was having all of their loved ones in one place.

“I think for me, the number of speeches and what our friends and family had to say about our relationship and us as individuals was so heartfelt and touching,” says Molly. “I’ve never felt so much happiness and love in one weekend, and hearing how we’ve positively impacted not only our friends but each other’s lives really meant the world to us.”

The night ended with a quick outfit change (loving that mini after-party dress!) and a sparkler exit underneath the stars. Aka, a happily ever after for the new Mr. and Mrs.! ✨
