A Romantic, Retro Elopement in Philly Featuring A Pink Thunderbird!

Isabelle + Hunter knew for sure that a more traditional wedding with a big ol’ guest list was not going to be the move.

“We both wanted to get married in a way that felt like ‘us,’” says the couple, “and a big wedding just didn’t fit our vibe.”

Instead they prioritized the parts of getting married that sounded the most fun to them: photos, amazing outfits, good food. They decided to keep things chill—Isabelle + Hunter got ready at the Monaco Hotel and then explored Philadelphia with photographer Toni Marie, listening to Taylor Swift, chatting about reality TV, and taking some super cool photos in their chic elopement looks! Then, to include some of their fave people in their special day, they met up with friends and fam at Italian restaurant Rosalie Wayne to celebrate!

We’re totally loving the stylish, retro vibes of this big city elopement. One of our fave details? The powder pink convertible they cruised around in!! Let’s get into the pics!!

Just cause you’re eloping doesn’t mean you can’t have a super cute invitation situation! The retro, hand-drawn vibe and feathery, red envelopes totally capture the energy of Isabelle + Hunter’s elopement day.

One of Isabelle + Hunter’s big goals for the day was to create the feeling of an editorial shoot.

A Post-Elopement Celebration

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding

Seeing our guests greet us at dinner dressed up in sequins, feathers, and lots of pink was truly magical. Also taking pictures in a pink thunderbird was amazing too!!

For her second look, Isabelle went with a corset bodice drop waist white mini dress from STAUD and one of her many veils! This time with some feathery flair!

Also, so into the white flare-heel pointed toe pumps she changed into!

Vintage-inspired cakes like Isabelle + Hunter’s are one of the trends we are loving to see! Even the cake topper was retro perfection!

Congrats, Isabelle + Hunter! Your editorial elopement day was total retro romance. Best wishes from GWS!
