And, for those that are curious as to why wedding dresses are typically white, well, that’s all Queen Victoria’s fault. We kid, we kid, but almost ALL wedding dresses worn before 1840 were colorful, not white. Blue was a popular choice, and many brides opted for dark colors—better for hiding stains + imperfections, so the dress could be worn again.
