Sometimes you just gotta take a step back and say, “HOLY SMOKES!” And that’s exactly what we did for today’s wedding in the Los Angeles Art District. Why? Oh, just a number of reasons. One, the bride opted for a vibrant red gown that’s seriously show-stopping. Two, the dessert bar was endless… and we mean endless — from cupcakes and macarons to brownies + more! Three, their color palette was inspired by the groom’s Nepali-American culture, and the bride’s Mexican-American culture. And four, well, for four you’ll just have to take a peek for yourself!
Planner + event designer, Orange Blossom Special Events, tells us: Alex and Mitesh will always and forever hold a special place in our hearts. I mean, Alex wore a red Romona Keveza gown… And, while I can probably stop there (BOOM! Mic drop) there’s still so much more that made this wedding unique. They wanted to create a truly unique + Los Angeles-inspired day, and we crafted just that…
Ready to see all the vibrant details captured by Jenny Smith & Co. at Millwick?! Let’s go!!
YES. The gown of our dreams!! This beauty is from Romona Keveza.
Playing up the red hues with pops of peachy pink, deep magenta, and scarlet roses, Enchanted Garden Floral Design crafted this Pinterest-worthy bouquet.
He had his tux jacket embroidered with their names + the date of their wedding… Isn’t that the sweetest?!
Alex shares: Since we are both originally from Southern California, we knew we wanted a wedding in in a coastal city, so our friends and family could enjoy the beach and the great weather, particularly since many were coming from the East Coast following a cold winter. However, living in New York City has also given us an appreciation of the urban and industrial landscape. As such, we wanted to create a contemporary, relaxed downtown vibe and we thought the Los Angeles Arts District was the perfect fit.
Too darling…

The look on her face is too good!!
After being pronounced husband and wife, I loved turning around and seeing all of the people that traveled so far to help us celebrate our special day! We also loved the late night snacks and dancing with friends. The freshly fried donuts and In-N-Out were a big hit with our guests.
Orange Blossom Special Events shares: A+M gave us free reign over the signage, so our designer went to town and created some really unique elements that included magnetic signage and photos of the couple’s home: New York City!
Mitesh wanted to ensure the bar was an experience in and of itself and Mama’s Medicine made that happen. The team at Mama’s crafted a cocktail called Ode de Paris that was their own special mix of gin, smashed basil elderflower foam — YUM!

When it came to dinner, A+M may have had one elegant set up, but their dishes were casual + cool! The menu included a taco cart, Portos, In-N-Out, and Fry Girl who fried up donuts all night long!
That dessert bar is SWEET!! Banana pudding shots, tarts, macarons, lemon bars, brownies, cupcakes… and wedding cake?! What more could you want?
Simple + sweet, the wedding cake is Vanilla Bake Shop‘s masterpiece.
