I knew I wanted to wear a flower in my hair for my wedding – I mean, when else can you wear one besides a tropical island? I remember when I was looking for inspiration, I found this shop on etsy with great handmade flower pieces…well, it seems her hair pieces have really taken off since then! Twigs & honey is the hair adornments line by Myra Callan. She incorporates things such as silks, vintage and millinery flowers, beads, tulle, feathers, lace – even extra fabric from your wedding dress! She can create a headband or a flower pin (and some come with detachable bird cage veils!). She also makes boutonnieres and corsages to match. It does take a few months for a custom piece since they are in high demand, so keep that in mind. Her pieces range from $40 and up – very affordable. Check her etsy shop out!
