The Bride Wore Sequins for This Quirky + Colorful Urban Farm Wedding in Melbourne

We’re heading Down Under to take a peek at Steph + Oscar’s bright and quirky wedding day in Melbourne, Australia! 

Steph + Oscar—both animal lovers and climate activists—planned their entirely vegan farm wedding at Collingwood Children’s Farm, a working community farm and nonprofit organization just outside of the city.

Their fun + colorful vibe showed up in every element of the day and its decor. There was a sparkly, ruffley wedding dress. There was a precious pink vintage-inspired cake. There were even table florals packed with fresh and eligible fruits and vegetables. And photographer Kyra Boyer was there capturing it all!

Rather than spend the pre-wedding hours apart, Steph + Oscar chose to get ready together on their big day!

Steph’s not afraid of a DIY moment! This bride created her wedding day makeup look, her updo, AND her big bow accent wedding veil herself!

Oscar’s deep green wedding suit came from Suitably, and he kept things ethically sourced by pairing the look with some pointed toe vegan leather boots from Good Guys Don’t Wear Leather.

The day’s bright pink and citrus-tone florals were created by florist Tremella Botanicals. (And yes, that is a edible garland of cumquats worked into Steph’s bridal bouquet 💛)
