The Maine-based vendor team behind this super fun shoot wanted to experiment with creating a wedding that was “both playful and opulent,” seamlessly blending sporty fun with sophisticated design. 

Event designers + planners from Coastline Weddings created a wedding day aesthetic inspired by watercolors that filled both the beautiful wooded outdoor event spaces and the pickleball court at The Barn on Walnut Hill with bright + romantic color.

A Colorful Ceremony

Leafsong Floral Designs brought the floral patterns of the shoot’s paper goods and pickleball paddle graphics to life with this bright + beautiful ceremony arch.

So enchanted by the vibrant gradient effect created by these colorful blooms!

“One of our favorite design elements for the shoot was including a live event artist,” says photographer Kelly. “Black Lilac Studio added a unique and personalized touch to the editorial. By having a live artist present, we aimed to show couples the value of incorporating interactive and customizable elements into their weddings. The live artist not only provides entertainment and engagement for guests, but also offers couples the opportunity to have a tangible memory of their special day.”

Loving the maximalist whimsy of these big paper blooms! “Collaborating with Alex Winsper Designs to create the giant paper flowers was another key element that added a vibrant and playful touch to various elements of the wedding decor,” says Katie. “These oversized florals not only served as striking focal points but also infused the space with bursts of color and energy, elevating the visual impact of the design.”

This wedding shoot’s vibe definitely called for a bridal look with a bold pop of color in the form of these orange wedding heels.
