Event designer Shelley Simone of Shelley Simone Luxe Events wanted to bring some high fashion color and excitement to the typically more subdued San Antonio, Texas weddings scene. She had visions of bright details, bold florals, and butterflies, and this “Majestic Spring” editorial brought them all to life.
“San Antonio is a very conservative city that rarely showcases bridal photography outside of the traditional ‘country motifs,’” says Shelley. “This styled photoshoot is the first of many that will trail-blaze new trends that are unique and inventive.”
Shelley gathered an extensive and extraordinary team of local vendors including photographer Gillian Menzie, planners from The Ultimate Wedding Experience, and florist Eden’s Echo Floral Design and brought them together at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church to create this elevated, festive springtime fairytale.
