That’s the perfectly poetic way that the photography team of Les Bandits describes what happened when this visionary team of wedding creatives took a historic mansion in Paris and filled it with overgrown, organic floral magic.
Maybe it’s the understated yet devastatingly chic Parisian fashion. Maybe it’s the centuries-old venue and the hints of deco, baroque, and rococo design. Maybe it’s the way the wild + grassy florals absolutely overtake the space. Or maybe it’s just the undeniable romance of the City of Lights. Whatever it is, we are in love.
“The aesthetic embraces a romantic, soft, yet opulent spirit,” explains Les Bandits of how the editorial’s team approached filling the salons + dining rooms of The Galerie Bourbon. “It evokes a sense of lush love, with sensual undertones and artistic nuances woven throughout.”
What’s so incredible about this shoot — planned by MC2 Mon Amour — is the way that the creatives blended so many textures and influences into one seamless + cohesive wedding. Mossy wilderness. Historic architecture. Earthiness. Elegance. Even Gucci was a source of inspiration for the team (all that green!).
“We titled this wedding editorial “Rococo Bloom,’” Les Bandits says of the part that historic design played in the shoot’s creation. “Our vision was to showcase a celebration infused with baroque influences — expressed through the venue, florals, décor, and styling.”
And all of this wedding design excellence happening in the heart of Paris? Just steps from the Arc de Triomphe? Yeah, that’s an easy oui.
“The Galerie Bourbon is an exceptional, quintessentially Parisian venue,” Les Bandits says. “It was love at first sight upon visiting.”
“Both intimate and unconventional, it perfectly aligned with the world we sought to create. Rather than diminishing its character, we chose to celebrate and elevate it — embracing its beauty and all of its unique features.”

“In terms of décor, our intention was to seamlessly integrate each element into the richness of the florals, without losing a sense of delicacy, softness, and elegance,” Les Bandits shares.
“We incorporated drapery in gentle tones, sumptuous materials such as velvet, and a mirrored table that subtly echoed the ceremony setting—introducing a bold yet refined statement.”
