Photography in the North
location: New York, NY

about us I grew up in Texas and married a beautiful brunette five years ago on a mountain top in the Hudson Valley (highly recommended). After several years in Brooklyn, we moved to the Garden State (to the town where they filmed Garden State). We live a simpler life now, with our newborn son and our puppy, who I believe is half-Ewok, half-teddy bear. I play the drums every day and have a thing for hammocks, fire pits, espresso and vintage guitars. Good food and great company is what life is all about. Oh, and if you’re into craft beer, we’ll get on just fine. I’m also a wedding photographer. Weddings are AMAZING! What can I say? I’m lucky enough to witness tears of joy, celebrations of life and the continuation of family legacies on a weekly basis. I put everything I have into my photos, and I’m humbled and inspired by couples who trust me to tell their story.
our approach / working with us fine art photojournalism
why we love weddings I’m drawn to passionate people who live with their hearts on their sleeves. I strive to create sincere, stylish images that capture the real personalities of my couples and the raw emotion of one of the most important days of their lives. If you’re not into the whole ‘fake-smile-for-the-camera-everything-is-staged’ thing, then we’re on the same page. Cheesy wedding photography is the absolute worst. My approach to wedding photography is simple: It’s not about documenting every single kiss, or every single guest, or capturing every little detail from your wedding day. Sure, that’s all important in telling a well-rounded story, but what really excites me is capturing how the day feels. It’s those quiet, in-between moments I look for – the way you light up when you see your soulmate for the first time that day, the way you squeeze each other’s hands when you get nervous, and the way your parents tear up as you exchange your vows Believe me, I get a little misty-eyed as well. All these weddings later, I still get goosebumps. And that’s what I want you to feel every time you look through your wedding album, whether it’s a year from now or when you’re old and grey. I want you to remember how it felt.
our travel policy I shoot weddings all over the world, so please don't hesitate to ask for my travel fee info. My passport is up to date and I'm not afraid of flying!
