Welcome to this week’s Links + Loves!

We have some fun things for you this week but first, some news! Today, we’re happy to welcome two new editors to our GWS editorial team! Jacqueline and Sheena joined our crew and they’re jumping in with some great links for you from some of their latest favorites. We’re so happy to have them contributing from DC and Colorado respectively, which means we officially have an editor in each of the four main US time zones which is some kind of accomplishment, for sure – ha!

Now, here are a few things you may have missed this week! We’ve got a roundup of the besssst bridesmaid gifts, a guide to lab-grown diamond engagement rings, and a super-fun round-up of cute bridal sunglasses. Also, this moody Italian elopement will leave you feeling some kinda way.

Green Wedding Shoe’s product selections are curated by the editorial team. If you buy something through our links, we may earn an affiliate commission at no cost to you. If you would like to support GWS, please consider shopping through our links!

Here are a few things our editors are loving lately:

From Jen:

I’ve been looking for running shorts and these are so comfy and affordable – recommend them for your morning summer runs!

Tried this pre-made margarita mix and was skeptical but it was SO GOOD! Had the Baja Lime flavor and recommend for easy cocktails this summer – just add ice!

Bought this sleeveless gauze dress and it’s so soft and perfect for hot summer days. Comes in lots of colors and sizes XS – 4X – plus it’s only $20!

From Britt:

I’ve succumbed to the soap brows trend and I’ll tell anyone who will listen that it WORKS. I’m using this $8 kit from Amazon!

We just got this rose gold Soda Stream and that feels really cheugy but I’m excited to drink all the sparkling water without the waste!

This powerful set of photos made me stop in my IG-scrolling tracks and tear up. So beautiful.

From Sheena:

Lately, I’ve been spending my summer afternoons scrolling through my favorite coffee table books, and the one I’m really digging this one right now. Pretty sure it’ll be my #1 inspiration source when I build my own adventure cabin in the woods someday.

Speaking of cabins, if you don’t already stalk the Cabin Love Insta account, what are you waiting for?! It’s the ultimate wanderlust inspo.

From Katie:

I don’t know about you but in the summer, I am not a candle person. So I bought some reed diffuser’s from Target and this Opalhouse scent had good reviews. So far, the house smells lovely!

I have seen body harnesses become a thing and never know how to style one in a ‘soft’ way, but this pink one I bought from LoveAprilMoon (a small shop) is both romantic and chic! Add it to a dress and you are instantly cute. Plus it’s only $44!

Currently reading (no…devouring) We Free the Stars by American Muslin author Hafsah Faizal, which is the second book in the Sands of Arawiya series. An enemies-to-lovers story following Zafira and Nasir (swoon). Highly recommend it if you like Fantasy!

From Jacqueline:

I bought two workout dresses from Amazon Prime Day and I’m obsessed. Not only are they great for this summertime heat, but are super cute and comfy! They come with shorts and a variety of different colors/prints.

I’m an avid Bachelor and Bachelorette fan—so, of course, I’ve been tuning in every Monday to catch up on all the drama from Katie’s season. This is my go-to drink for Bachelorette Mondays!

The wedding trend I’m absolutely loving right now has to be the blue-and-white ginger jar theme. Couples are using this pretty floral pattern on linens, stationery, and even bridesmaid dresses! It’s perfect for creating an elegant, outdoor aesthetic at any type of celebration.

Have a great weekend!
