We wanted to enjoy every single moment of our day. Our overall idea was to keep it nice and easy – an experience dedicated to us only, somewhere we would have never been before. So we rented a beautiful villa to spend some time together, filling the day with simple things, as playing music, reading, dancing, enjoy slow moments together with no rush.

Dolce Far Niente
Dolce Far Niente translates to “the sweetness of doing nothing”. It’s a piece of the Italian lifestyle that says still moments of quiet and peaceful things are important, and should be enjoyed often. This is exactly what L + L did on the afternoon before their elopement. L played a newly composed song on her violin, they danced, they drank, they got ready together, and they took things slow.

Beach Elopement in Italy
The ceremony has been one of the most unexpectedly emotional moments, as we are both quite reserved. We exchanged vows in a quiet bay, we also were lucky enough to witness some of the best sunsets ever seen! It has actually been the most emotional thing I could ever expect to be… Especially when Leo pulled out a handmade ring he has designed for me. I was speechless.

Being a very intimate kind of wedding, we didn’t want to stress about the planning process. So we decided to take it in the easiest possible way, focusing only on the things that mattered the most to us, which was the location, the dress (mine, as a bride!) and the photography!

Having this intimate elopement was such a special experience. Completely immersed in the things and the places you love the most. Lisa and Leo decided to dedicate it to themselves, celebrating their feelings while exchanging their vows in a secret and quiet bay. The whole atmosphere was magical: the sound of water was like the sweetest lullaby, the last rays of sunlight slowly leaving their place to the shy moon. Everything was just in its right place…
