Today’s couple was featured five years ago with their super creative vintage inspired wedding (still obsessed with her dress!) and today, Sam + Josh are back with a 5-year-anniversary shoot that will make you want to just get out and drive! Since being married, these two began photographing other love birds – so cool – and decided to celebrate 5 years with a shoot of their own! Here’s more from Sam:
How has it been five years already!? We loved every second of our wedding but more than anything else, we have loved being married. Now, over 5 years later, our life is completely different but we are still so in love. We started doing photos + video of elopements + weddings together a few years ago and we go on all kinds of crazy adventures together, capturing love in incredible places.
We really wanted to do something special to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary, so we decided to go on a motorcycle trip up the 395 to our favorite mountain range, the Sierra Nevada. We knew we wanted to try and and capture everything ourselves and truly show us exactly as we are now. I found a dress that reminded me of my wedding dress and so we loaded up, got a killer bouquet from Haystack Floral, got some friends to help us with this crazy idea, and rode up to the Alabama Hills.
Professionally known as The Arroyos, they captured their own love in a truly unique way…let’s have a look!
From his perspective…aww!
If you check out Sam’s wedding dress, you’ll know this Free People dress is a total reincarnation!
Haystack Floral made the most beautiful dessert bouquet for the occasion!
Sam told us that the bike actually stopped running at one point! Of course, they kept rolling with it and shooting!
How perfect are Sam’s two dresses?! Love ’em both.

A perfect end to a beautiful day! Don’t forget to check out the video they put together, too – SO good:
Happy 5 years, you two! Many congrats from all of us at GWS!
