Event planner, stylist, and florist Nikki Anderson of Runaway Indie was the creative genius behind this bridal shower’s fun and playful pink-and-black vibe. We cannot get enough of the subtle, nostalgic nods to the 90s that Nikki worked into this event. Oh, and the super-cute theme? Cookies, Cocktails, + Crop-Tops.

Nikki from Runaway Indie gave us the rundown of the cocktail situation: “The signature Runaway Indie bar featured a Marry Me Margarita, complete with pink rock candy stirs (a nod to the 90s) and spritzer cocktails topped with cotton candy poufs.”

Nikki described her vision for the shower’s color palette: “Pops of hot pink and black could be seen throughout the event hidden behind subtle hues of blush.”
“We wanted the florals and the tablescape to showcase a playful nod to the 90s, while still being feminine,” says Nikki.
That matte black anthurium adds so much drama to the delicate pinks of this floral centerpiece.
