Would you describe your wedding style as romantic, ethereal, and just a tad moody? Congratulations – this inspo is for you! The New-Orleans based wedding planners behind The Spell Society and photographer Jordan Jankun teamed up to create this dreamy wedding inspiration at the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum.
With a venue located in the iconic French Quarter, it’s not difficult to be inspired by the surroundings! Each element of this shoot was thoughtfully curated for prospective New Orleans couples. From the calligraphy to the vintage car, and flowers by Tame Florals, there’s so much in here that you won’t want to miss!
Celestial Dreams
New Orleans’ thriving cultural scene isn’t just thanks to its colorful homes and vivacious nightlife. For centuries, New Orleans has been a hub for religious devotees to unite – especially those that practice Voodoo. This beautiful celestial flat lay by Kate’s Calligraphy was complemented by hand-picked Voodoo dolls, crystals, and tarot cards to honor the history of the city and its incredible inhabitants.
We love to see blushing brides! With so many creative and symbolic elements in a wedding, it can be nice to opt for a simple bridal look. This elegant dress by Tara Latour truly lets the bride’s beauty be the focal point.
….but hey, that doesn’t mean the groom can’t have a little fun! We’re LOVING this bold black and gold suit from The Black Tux.
Vow to Be Together
It doesn’t get much more romantic than a courtyard overflowing with flowers! Wanna know what to wear to a wedding like this as a guest? We’ve got 49 dress ideas for you.
There’s no better feeling than finally marrying the love of your life!
A Warm Reception
Nothing feels as angelic as white drapey fabric! This was the perfect touch to elevate an already-beautiful reception design.
Remember how we told you this would be a hit if you like moody vibes? This orange and black color combo does just the trick, without looking like it’s for Halloween! As if this wedding wasn’t dreamy enough, each table had hand-painted rocks inscribed with the guest’s name and a constellation.
Balloon garlands are a huge wedding trend right now, and we’re not mad at it! This display for the cake has fun and flirty vibes written all over it.
Looking to amp up your balloon garland even more? Adding in a few dried florals should do just the trick!
For the grand finale, a vintage car was brought in! All couples deserve a killer wedding exit, and a classic car will always be in style.
We hope you’re feeling inspired by this celestial wedding in New Orleans! Looking for even more wedding inspo? Try on this New York rooftop wedding or Giraffe Manor elopement for size. Happy planning!
