This real-life couple took to Manchester’s Northern Quarter for this fun, city editorial-styled shoot! Becca and Esme’s day featured stunning pink florals with three different bridal looks! This is simplicity at its finest, and a great example of showing couples how you can make an absolutely incredible day with a few vendors and amazing memories!! Sam Sparks Weddings captured all the gorgeous shots you’re about to see… Let’s check them out!

Mama Inc Studios created this fun and eye-catching stationery, giving us a sneak peek into the fun color palette (and prints!) the creative team has in store!
City Girls Fall in Love

Look number one! These fabulous white dresses are beautifully offset by moody pink and violet bouquets by Emma Cox Floristry!

We’re sure you’re dying to hear this couple’s love story and we can’t wait to share it with you!
“We met on Tinder in November, after both deciding to stay single forever. We met and it was like love at first sight… we’ve been together ever since and hardly been apart, despite at the time we met living over an hour and a half away from each other. Esme moved to Manchester, which made the distance just under an hour, and Rebecca is finally moving away from Liverpool and into Manchester with Esme in June. We love spending nights in Manchester’s gay village, cooking vegan food, and exploring new places around the UK. We have two Siamese cats who are VERY excited for us to finally stop the traveling back and forth and be with them more often.”

The aesthetic of the shoot was to create a fashion-forward city wedding vibe, reflective of Esme and Becca’s love and energy; Manchester’s cool Northern Quarter being the perfect location. Are you also looking for a stylish short wedding dress? Because we LOVE a short dress for a city wedding!

Second Look of the Day

Playful and fun dresses by Laudae and Moonchild were chosen, with frothy tulles, pleated satins, and frills, all while accessorized with a flash of leopard print!

We love how this veiled beret is being used as an alternative to a traditional veil. Looking for other fun veil alternatives? We’ve rounded up some of the best wedding veils for every bridal style!

“We loved this shoot – especially because it’s in the city we’re both soon to call home, and it was very much our style. The dresses were beautiful and the flowers were by our favorite florist, and the hair and makeup were just perfect for us. It’s one we’ll treasure forever – Sam made us feel really comfortable and we’re just in love with the images.”

A Hint of Leopard

To complement the vibe of the shoot, a color palette using leopard print as a neutral was selected to contrast the juxtaposition of the red and pink florals. This is accented again in the stationery and leopard print vegan cake.
This fun cake is from The Palms Bakery! It perfectly ties into the subtle pops of print sprinkled throughout their day!

Speaking of leopard…can you spot the animal print shoes one of these ladies are rocking?!

Love wins again and again. These two couldn’t look happier!

Confetti queens! How gorgeous is this shot?! We are big fans of biodegradable confetti for your wedding exit!

More leopard shoes! If you’re having a hard time shopping for wedding shoes and need some guidance… GWS has you covered!

Looks like these two can dance their lives away together… forever! We are obsessed with these fashion-forward bridal looks and send all of our good wishes to the happy couple!
