Multi-platform social media sensations Samantha Swanson and Corey Brooks met (where else?) through TikTok! Samantha spotted one of Corey’s videos on her For You page, and she was smitten right away. She popped over to his Instagram and took a chance on her crush by replying to one of his stories. The rest is internet history 💕
And we’ve got an exclusive look at their jaw-dropping wedding in Malibu!!
Exactly two years after they met, Samantha + Corey got engaged in May of 2022, setting their sights on their July 2023 wedding. The goal was classic, timeless romance with an organic color palette: sage greens, creams, and lots of black + white. The couple teamed up with planners and event designers from Fawn Events to bring the dream to life.
Their venue, Malibu Dream Resort, was absolutely meant to be. From Sam, “Malibu Dream Resort was actually the first and only venue we looked at in person. When we first arrived there was a hummingbird playing in the front fountain and ever since Corey and I met we said that hummingbirds were our good omen, so right off the bat we felt connected to the property. Then as we walked around, we continued to fall in love with the beautiful scenery, how many different spaces we would be able to utilize, the stunning design of the estate itself, and that we are able to stay for the whole weekend. We have friends in many different places and it was important for us to find a venue that we could spend quality time outside of the wedding itself.“

Everything surrounding the ceremony. The violinist Jeremy Green filled the space with gorgeous music. Our officiant had an amazing speech and our vows were so incredibly special. We laughed and cried and we’re filled with so much love and happiness. It was the perfect way to start the celebration.

Our Advice To Those Planning Now When you get to the 3 month mark, try your hardest to get at least one thing done a day. Even if it’s a small task, seeing that list get smaller and smaller will help eliminate stress as you get closer.
