The color world was made up of crisp ivories and of soft ocean blues. The decor vibe was a mix of simplicity, sophistication, and delicate mismatched floral prints. And photographer Valerie describes venue Watchmere as “a private New England oasis that perfectly embodied the island’s natural beauty and nautical spirit.”

A Charmingly Nautical Tented Reception

This has to be one of our favorite on-theme wedding reception seating chart ideas. Artist Courtney Kibby hand-painted names + table numbers onto miniature sailboats!

“The reception took place under a traditional tent, but with a twist: eclectic chic chandeliers hung from above, wrapped in vineyard vines that cascaded down, creating an enchanting canopy that captured the essence of the island’s landscapes,” says Valerie of these dreamy hanging installations.

“The blues and greens that filled the tent were a perfect match for the stunning coastline, making it feel as though the sea itself had joined in the celebration,” Valerie adds. “And classic floral arrangements of hydrangeas brought a burst of color and life to the setting.”

“Decor from Peak Event Services and linens in floral patterns and ocean blues from BBJ La Tavola adorned the tables, enhancing the coastal ambiance.”
