A “Coastal Garden Party” Wedding Filled With Beautiful Blue + White Details

The bride grew up on the beaches of Naples, Florida. The groom grew up across the pond in Richmond, England. For Vivian + Max, fusing their respective hometown vibes led to the creation of their wedding’s charming + unique Coastal Garden Party aesthetic.

Together with Jet Set Wed, Vivian + Max dreamed up a design vision that brought the delicate blues + whites of an English countryside garden party to the sunny + sandy shores at Cutlass Cove Beach Club in Naples and really made the celebration their own. There were bridesmaid florals in adorable baskets, an exciting non-traditional wedding day timeline, and one of a kind jewelry from the bride Vivian Warwick’s own jewelry line, Henri Noël.

And you know we love an unforgettable choreographed mother of the groom dance moment!

Let’s get into it!

We spy some stunningly unique rings in this details shot! “I founded Henri Noël Jewelry four years ago,” says bride Vivian. “It means so much to create a couple’s forever pieces, so getting to create my own rings was a feeling I will never forget.”

So exciting to get a jewelry designer’s insight into her own ring: “My engagement ring is a 2.25ct xxx GIA certified Oval Diamond set in a four-prong head on a 1.20ct Marquise Eternity Band,” Vivian says. “The design was made more unique by the marquise diamond’s horizontal setting in a rose gold band.”

“Given that my father is also a jeweler, Max had the perfect co-creator when it came to the engagement ring,” says Vivian. “Together, they sorted, color-matched and set each of the marquise diamonds to create this one-of-a-kind eternity band.”

Nothing sweeter than a bridesmaid first look!!

And of course we need the details of Vivian’s dazzling wedding day jewelry! “I wore a bezel-set diamond necklace gifted to my mom by my dad the day I was born”, remembers Vivian. “And I wore heart-shaped diamond studs, which I found to be the perfect amount of sparkle.

Vivian discovered this strapless stunner with its removable off-the-shoulder long lace sleeves on a shopping trip with her mom in Miami. “We shared a knowing smile when I tried on this gown and confirmed it as ‘the one,'” Vivian says. “I once listened to a podcast where Monique said, ‘If your dress is not filthy at the end of the night, you didn’t do it right.’ I connected with those words as I wanted a dress I wouldn’t want to take off all night but also one that was comfortable to move in.”

“We genuinely planned our wedding together,” says the couple. “Max’s strength was the invites, seating, food, and entertainment for the evening. Vivian’s strengths were all about the aesthetic and curating a vibe that felt relaxed but also elevated for the evening. Everytime we would make a large wedding decision we would ask ourselves, cost aside, ‘does this actually make sense for us?'”

Flowers from Kaleidoscope Floral helped to created the Coastal Garden Party aesthetic that defined the design of Vivian + Max’s day. This romantic all-white bridal bouquet is just the beginning.

Groom Max stood out among his tuxedoed mates in an ivory jacket tux from Armani Exchange suit paired with Ferragamo shoes.

Bridal Baskets

We truly cannot get enough of the innovative handbag-like floral bridal baskets that Vivian’s bridal party carried!

“The bridal baskets came about from speaking with my wedding planner, Kehrin Hassan from Jet Set Wed,” Vivian remembers. “I explained that I was envisioning a ‘Garden Party-esque’ wedding, and wanted to be a part of creating something no one had seen before. I did not want a wedding that had over-the-top florals, but rather one where each detail had intention. The Bridal Baskets were a small but effective detail that had impact throughout the entire night.”

“The bridal baskets were used multiple times during the evening. First, by the bridesmaids during the ceremony, then to decorate the cake and tables during the reception. I had been a bridesmaid in a wedding before where my bouquet hardly made it through the ceremony. My floral arrangements went until the very end because of their placement in the basket, and I felt the wild flowers and natural greenery aged nicely throughout the evening.”

A Pre-Ceremony Cocktail Hour

Vivan + Max disrupted the expected wedding day timeline by beginning the celebration with a cocktail hour that progressed effortlessly into the ceremony.

“On the invites, we told all guests the ceremony would start at 4pm, but in reality that was just the start of the cocktail hour, which preceded the ceremony,” says the couple. “This allowed the guests to take photos and get a little loose before taking their seats for the more formal proceedings.”

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding

Vivian: Max playing the piano while my dad and I did our first dance.
Max: Our officiant tasked us with a small homework project - coming up with 3 words that described our partner. I loved not only hearing what Vivian had to say about me, but also sharing with friends and family how I described her. This was our fun twist on traditional vows, which we did in private a few hours prior.

Our Advice To Those Planning Now

One thing we are glad we did was take the time the night prior to talk to our guests and thank them for being there, especially the ones that didn’t have to travel far to be there. We knew that our time would be precious on the wedding day, so wanted to make sure that we enjoyed all those moments with each other and those who may never be together in Naples again.

“Max’s mother used to be a professional dancer, and his father used to be a choreographer,” says the couple of how this epic MOG dance moment came to be. “They were both featured on TV shows in England back in the 80s and 90s. With their combined expertise, they crafted a timeless routine, leaving Max with the simple task of mastering the moves! The song they danced to was “I’m Holdin’ On To Love” by Shania Twain, one of Max’s favorite artists.”

All of us at GWS are so happy for you, Vivian + Max! Congratulations on your unforgettably charming Coastal Garden Party wedding!
