For all of you out there who love throwing caution to the wind and breaking typical wedding traditions, this one is for you! We’d like to describe this wedding as a mix of Wes Anderson vibes meets colorful California fun! The couple even had a bounce house at their reception…incredible right?!
The venue is in Northern California, Taber Ranch Vineyard and the couple explains that they really disregarded most of the traditions involved with weddings and just did what they wanted to do. The words that kept coming to mind for Annie + Benjamin when discussing their big day were ” Whimsical”, ” Rainbow”, and “Fun”! 🌈

Pretty in Pink
After trying a few white wedding dresses on, bride Annie knew she wanted to stray from tradition!
“I had purchased a dress from Etsy that was gorgeous but after trying it on I just didn’t feel like me, so back to the drawing board. I knew I wanted a pink wedding dress so I googled, and Pinterested, and Instagramed, for months until I found Chotronette online and fell in love.
I think picking a specific dress from their website was harder than deciding on anything else for the wedding because all of their dresses are incredible!”
While Annie rocked her hot pink wedding dress Ben stunned in a cotton candy blue colored suit!
The Cheeky First Look
Voila! The bride has arrived! And she looks ravishing in her frilly pink dress! Talk about a memorable first look!!
Bounce House Fun
Come on in and jump around! What a fun and great addition to any wedding day… a bounce house! Such a fun way to get guests (and the bride and groom!) in a great mood and ready for the day ahead!

To combat the warm California sun the couple included colorful parasols for the guests during the ceremony! How perfect!!

While Annie walked down the aisle, the guests joined in on singing her processional song to welcome her!
Annie shares with all bride and grooms-to-be to not stress the little things, the day goes by so quickly that you won’t remember them anyways! … Great advice!!
A Reception With Personal Touches
Riding in style! B + A had a red convertible waiting for them right after the ceremony to escort them to their reception.
Fun Fact: Each vintage glass on the table was hand selected by the bride herself! Such a great personal touch!
GWS Tip: If you’re looking to DIY some of your event design and create something fun and colorful, try different colored glassware, napkins, and vases to dress up the event design. This is such an easy idea and makes a great impact on your guests!
A Funky Outfit Change!
Annie had an outfit change during the reception which was a sequin jumpsuit and a hot pink coat!
Benjamin - Don't get too attached to the idea of what a wedding should be, ultimately it's a celebration of YOUR love. So it should be about you.
Annie - Splurge on two things, an amazing wedding planner and a kickass photographer!
