This couple said: Dodgers-themed wedding but make it ~chic~! Jordan and Jeff got married with 35 of their closest family and friends at Acre Baja. The small guest list and all of the details throughout the day were intentional. The wedding day incorporated their obsession with baseball and beer. Guests found their seats with custom baseball cards and their tables were named after their favorite players. The dinner menus were shaped like “home base” and all guests had custom beer opener place cards – (the groom works in the beer industry).
To lessen the stress of planning, the couple hired the planners and event designers behind Details Darling and photographer Maddy Shoots captured all the special moments. Lastly, to bring their chic, yet personal vision together, Cabo-based florist Lola del Camp created stunning floral arrangements to complement their day. Now let’s get into this amazing wedding!

Okay, SO. Not only did these ladies understand the assignment… they went above and beyond!! They look so fashionable in their matching polka dot bridesmaid robes paired with the cutest heart shape sunnies!! Obsessed!
J + J couldn’t look more in love!
Little black dress(es)!! These ladies look so chic and stylish. Love their look? We have searched high and low for the best black bridesmaid dresses… so you don’t have to!
What made the fashion even more special was that the bride designed all of her own jewelry for the day, along with all of the bridesmaids’ specialty pieces. She owns her own jewelry line Sundrenchd and the pieces shined perfectly in that Mexico sunshine!!

“My dress was from Love and Lace Bridal in OC, it was the second dress I tried on and it was an immediate yes. It felt like it went with the venue well and I knew I wanted something simple and nothing too heavy considering the weather in Mexico.”
A Whole Lot of Love
We asked the couple to share a little bit about the inspiration behind their big day!
“We bonded over an initial love for the Dodgers and spent much of our time together those first months planning our dates around Dodger games. So we knew we wanted that to be a part of our day without it being cheesy, oh and IN Cabo. Baseball but make it chic and Aubrey made our dreams a reality. Everything about our day/vendors was so intentional. Every last detail had significance down to the table numbers (our favorite player’s numbers).”

Down to the Details
Personal touches are our favorite! Here are those beer opener place cards we talked about earlier. A great nod to the grooms’ line of work, but also such a fun souvenir for guests to take home!
Instead of having guests sign a guestbook, they opted for a voice messaging machine so they can listen to their guests’ messages at a later date! So cute!
One moment that was incredibly special to us was after we were married and took photos there was a moment all our friends and family were gathered around the pool at Acre having cocktails and we could see them from where we were standing in the beautiful lush greenery while the sun was setting. We stood there feeling so grateful and humbled that everyone had made the trip for us. We had most of our closest friends and family in one of our favorite places getting ready to dance the night away with us. There’s something so special about knowing that.
Home Run to the Reception!
This outdoor space was the perfect spot for this couple’s intimate reception. And this tiled flooring looks like a great place to bust out some moves later on in the night!
Jordan and Jeff had the loveliest sweetheart table to enjoy their first meal together as husband and wife!
Hire planners. The best thing I did. I was never stressed, it made the wedding process fun. It felt like I had a group of best gals in my corner helping me plan my dream wedding. I got to do the fun stuff and Aubs and Kenz did all the hard work.
Don’t sweat the small stuff. We had a ton of not so small stuff go wrong in the planning of our wedding. Delays from COVID, family health issues, loss of a best friend and bridesmaid and more COVID. Nothing could take away that we were finally getting to get married, we held strong to our love for one another and had Aubrey and her team cheering us on the whole way. They knew the wedding planning process had been so hard for us for reasons outside of anyone's control but they kept us smiling, prayed for us, supported us and reminded us that this day was for US. They helped us honor those who weren’t able to be there and made a day we will never forget.
As any Cabo wedding should end up….in the pool!
