Happy Saturday + happy Valentine’s Day! It’s not too often that we chime in over the weekend, but today’s feature was just too good not to share. Our friends at Maggpie Rentals came up with the idea to host a friendly competition this winter with some of the coolest and most creative people in Philadelphia. As we all know, the event and wedding industry tends to slow down just a bit in the winter + they thought that this would be a great way to keep the creative juices flowing in the off-season! For #14daysofsweethearts, each team chose from one of three sweetheart tables (all of which were built by Mr. Maggpie himself!) as well as seating from the Maggpie inventory. Other than that, there were no rules, except to have fun :) What each team created was not only beautiful, but inspiring and attainable for couples who are looking for sweetheart table ideas!
Maggie of Maggpie Rentals shares, From ethereal and romantic to simple elegance to classic with a modern flare, these teams did not hold back. Many thought outside of the box, going for the unconventional and unexpected (think: taxidermy and a cake made out of prosciutto). This project has been nothing short of a labor of love for us, and we are so excited to finally share it with everyone. One thing we’ve learned (and probably already knew) is that when you get a lot of fun and creative friends together, amazing things can happen!

Tomorrow morning (Sunday, February 15th) head over to the @MaggpieRentals Instagram, where Maggie will release the shots of each team’s table to be voted on by you, the followers! There will be a small red heart in the bottom right corner of each picture to signify that it is part of the challenge. Just leave a comment on your favorite table. Voting will end on February 16th at midnight, and the winner will be announced on February 18th. Join the fun with the hashtag #14daysofsweethearts!
So great, right? Thanks to all who participated + to Maggie for sharing! We hope you are all enjoying this Valentine’s Day weekend with your loved ones!
