Bold Blooms and Ballerinas Made a Wonderland of This Malibu Garden Wedding

Garden Party wedding dreams DO come true: this time in Malibu!

Set against sweeping Southern California mountain views at Cielo Farms, this Malibu editorial brought to life its unique garden-inspired design story by blending botanical abundance with cheeky whimsical Wonderland-worthy vibes.

Planners from Wedicity went big + bold with carefully chosen key elements throughout the shoot’s sequence of events to keep the WOW-factor feeling exceptionally curated. At the ceremony, it was the bright + bursting floral arrangements that left an unforgettable impression. For the transition into celebration mode, the walk to dinner through flowering manicured hedges was lined with a live performance element – a harpist in a pink ruffle gown and two graceful ballerinas. Then at the reception, it was the winding lilac purple banquet table that stole our hearts.

Oh, and there’s an elegant strapless floral applique wedding gown that has us absolutely enchanted.

The color world was rich + robustly romantic: plum, lavender, mauve, peach, periwinkle, marigold, and chartreuse. The scenery was sublime. And, if you’re in planning mode yourself, these shots by Megan Kay will have you dreaming in full blown garden party blooms for sure. 💐

Delicate script font invitations by Rue Paperie highlighted a few of the color palette’s stand-out hues: earthy greens, sunny citrus tones, and warm + romantic pinks.

THE GOWN. This breathtaking strapless floral Pronovias wedding dress used tulle in all the best possible ways while this sharp black wedding suit from Suit Shop kept things classic.

“I Do” In The Malibu Mountains

Floral designer Eddie Zaratsian made this ceremony space absolutely ERUPT with color and joy!
