“Effortless elegance” was the objective when Vanessa + Kevin started planning their Phuket, Thailand wedding.
The couple teamed up with planners + event designers from Me Events Phuket to take the spaces at luxury hotel Sri Panwa, with its jaw-dropping views of the Andaman Sea, and build a wedding there that felt “soft, airy, and timeless.”
“Vanessa and Kevin’s wedding is a beautiful reflection of modern destination romance done with intention,” says Pimpanit Choosit of Me Events Phuket. “Set against the breathtaking ocean backdrop of Sri Panwa Phuket, their celebration blends soft garden elegance with elevated coastal luxury — creating an atmosphere that feels both intimate and grand.”
Romantic blush pinks, refined ivories, and springy greens were used to create a color world that supported Vanesssa + Kevin’s effortlessly elegant vision. “Each detail was intentional,” Pimpanit says, “cohesive, personal, and designed to tell their story through texture, color, and place.”
One of the things we love most about this celebration’s design is the way it combined florals + fabric. At the ceremony, a lush garden of pastel florals bloomed, and both the altar platform and the guest seating were given texture with draped fabric. At the reception, the entire ceiling was covered in garlands of dreamy draping and hanging cala lilies.

“Vanessa and Kevin’s day was not just visually beautiful — it was deeply felt,” Pimpanit adds. “And that’s what makes it truly unforgettable.”

Time Together Before “I Do”

“The natural Andaman horizon became the true backdrop,” Pimpanit recalls of the ceremony’s airy, oceanfront views, “allowing the setting to breathe.”

“Bentwood chairs draped in sheer fabric, layered florals spilling organically across steps, and parasols for guests created a romantic yet relaxed ceremony atmosphere,” Pimpanit describes.
The Sea, The Sky, and Saying “I Do”
“The entrance featured a fully draped fabric welcome sign instead of a traditional board, layered with calla lilies and soft sheer accents to echo the ceremony styling,” says Pimpanit.
“Instead of a traditional arch, we designed a tiered, ivory-draped platform surrounded by asymmetrical meadow-style florals in white, blush, lilac, and fresh greens,” Pimpanit shares of the team’s approach to the ceremony’s sea view setup.

When it came to these lush, low floral arrangements in blush + ivory by IAMFLOWER: “The inspiration came from the idea of a ‘modern garden growing by the sea,'” Pimpanit shares.

“An emotional highlight was Vanessa walking down the aisle, her long lace veil flowing behind her while guests shaded themselves with soft parasols under the afternoon sun,” Pimpanit shares.
“One of the most unforgettable memories was their sunset dip kiss on the floral stage — framed by pastel blooms and the fading golden sky,” Pimpanit remembers.
“Vanessa and Kevin’s journey is rooted in quiet strength and unwavering partnership,” shares Pimpanit about the happy couple.
“They wanted their wedding day to feel like a natural extension of their relationship — warm, graceful, and deeply personal. Rather than an overly structured or traditional design, they envisioned something organic and emotional, where the scenery and florals felt alive and immersive.”

“For the reception,” Pimpanit says, “we transitioned indoors into a fully draped ceiling installation with cascading white fabric and integrated greenery.”
“The overall mood was intimate European romance with tropical refinement.”
“Their custom menu suite in blush and sage was tied with satin ribbon over folded green napkins, complementing the floral palette. Reception tables were styled with fresh grapes, pears, lemons, and limes — adding an organic, European garden feel beyond traditional florals.”
“Warm globe lighting, banquet-style tables, fresh grapes and lemons woven into the floral arrangements, and delicate lace-edged table numbers added depth and charm.”
“Guests were welcomed with illustrated Phuket tote bags featuring playful destination-inspired icons, turning their wedding into a shared travel experience,” says Pimpanit of Vanessa + Kevin’s thoughtful approach to guest favors + custom details. “Even the bar menu was printed on fabric and framed in draping, ensuring every functional element felt beautifully integrated.”
