Shannon + Mark knew they wanted to make some new + lasting memories at their new family home in the Cotswolds. The perfect way to do that? Get married there!
The creative couple — who first connected through the music world — have built their lives around collaboration, making their countryside home the perfect place to celebrate the next chapter together.
“They love of cozy, timeless style inspired the wedding’s aesthetic, which perfectly reflected their personalities,” says Becca from Wonderlust Events of the couple’s aesthetic approach. “Hosting the day at their Cotswolds home – a charming dollhouse-style cottage – allowed their friends and family to experience their world in a deeply personal way.”
Wonderlust Events embraced the couple’s stunning property, filling it with wild-yet-elegant flowers, whimsically ethereal draping, and a tent setup for the reception that took our breath away.
These photos from Claire Menary Photography tell the story of a dreamlike day. String lights twinkled. Greenery climbed the reception’s tent poles. And Shannon looked radiant in a soft + pleated wedding dress worthy of the chic-est fairy queen.
“Their vision was for the day to feel quintessentially British,” Becca says, “embracing the charm and character of the Cotswolds.”

The Ceremony
“The ceremony took place in a stretch tent in their gorgeous front garden, beneath a beautiful tree, with the backdrop of their beautiful dollhouse-like cottage,” Becca remembers. “Rows of wooden chairs faced a stunning semi-circle of flowers, creating a natural, romantic focal point.”
“This setting was particularly meaningful to Shannon, as she wanted their home to be at the heart of the moment.”
Loving the way Wild Thoughts married the mutedly romantic floral color palette with these bold splashes of magenta blooms.

The Reception
“The caterers — Pasetti + Boote — were a local, small independent company, as it was important to Shannon and Mark to work with suppliers from their area,” Becca remembers. “They wanted the menu to feel personal and reflective of the food they genuinely love to eat, opting for a generous, family-style feast to create a relaxed and communal dining experience.”
“The cocktail menu featured their favourite drinks,” Becca says of the day’s libations from Cock + Tail “each with personalised names inspired by their story together, such as the “Mark-artia” and the “Shannon Spritz,” adding a thoughtful and intimate touch to the celebration.”
“The tables were named after songs they had written together, and the table plan was printed on tracing paper and displayed on a fabric wall, elegantly separating the dining and party spaces,” Becca says of the ethereal-yet-minimalist seating chart by Samantha Colling Creative Studio.
“An elegant fabric wall divided the dining area from the bar and dance floor,” Becca shares of the way the tent’s layout included this dreamy draping by MiaSylvia.
