What a year it’s been for weddings!
We at GWS have spent the last 365 days immersed in all of the beautiful Real Weddings that we’re so lucky to get to share with you, and – while it would be impossible for us to pick favorites (we simply love them all too much) – we love to take a moment at the end of December to reflect on which celebrations made the biggest splash!
This year we’re going about it all a little differently. Not only are we factoring in how much traffic each wedding got here on the site, but we’re also looking at how much attention all of you showered on these stunning celebrations on platforms like Insta, TikTok, and Pinterest!
So! Welcome to our collection of the Top Ten Real Weddings from 2025 that made the biggest impression on our beloved GWS community. We cannot get enough of this year’s lineup.
This year favored the bold. Whether it was a daring design concept, a statement style choice, or a uniquely adventurous wedding ceremony, these weddings all prioritized creating a day that, for one reason or another, aimed at being totally unforgettable. In this roundup there are a few color palettes that feature a romantic + delicate shade of powder blue. There are vibrant statement veils and colorful floral bridal suits. And there are not one but TWO different sets of “I do’s” that took place in the middle of a body of water!
So, before the NYE ball drop brings us into 2026, let’s take a sec to refresh ourselves on the diverse + spectacular collection of weddings that got the most love this year!
10: More is More, a Whimsical Dreamland Wedding

With over 500,000 views, this dreamy tomato red + periwinkle blue celebration is the GWS wedding that Pinterest loved most this year!
Misha + Yulia’s special day was a masterclass in imagination (the unique color combo, the whimsical embroidered details, the ceremony underneath a giant lampshade?!). It makes sense that this one blew up the way it did — I mean, how can you resist pinning these gorgeous shots!?
9: Married in the Middle of the Ocean at Sunrise

TikTok couldn’t get enough of this sunrise ocean wedding in Hawaii (over a million views!!), and there are so many beautiful reasons why.
Leandra + Daniel both grew up on the island of Oahu, so they picked a sandbar off the coast in a meaningful spot, got their friends + fam out to sea in full wedding day attire by 4am, and tied the knot as the sun rose over the ocean. Next came a boating excursion complete with everybody jumping joyfully into the water at the exact spot where the bride’s late father had been laid to rest. And later? A cocktail party reception!
8: Bold and Bright Brides Celebrate in COLOR

This colorful Australian wedding was a smash hit on the ‘Gram. The statement veils! The sweet + playful vibe! The chic-yet-zany “Mardi Gras meets Met Gala” dress code! There’s so much to love about Nicola + Alex’s jaw-droppingly vibrant wedding, but the thing we’re still thinking about from this one? The outstandingly original way that photographer Jackson Grant captured the day! The guest photos from this one are next-level. SO fun + editorial!
7: A Midsummer Night's Fever Dream

We loved everything about this rich, fantastical SoCal wedding, and so did Instagram.
A twisted take on Shakespeare’s famously ethereal + fairy-filled play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” Cait + Matthew’s San Diego celebration was full of vivid-yet-earthy colors and SO many stand-out design choices. This one had human statues, a lime green statement aisle, glittering chandeliers in a drapery-filled tent, and one of the coolest photo booths we have ever seen.
6: Two Brides, One Electric Celebration

Syd + Sarah wowed us all with these wedding day looks at this style dream of a Minnesota wedding.
These brides gave us two totally original takes on wedding day attire with an exquisite ruffled blush tulle wedding dress and a sheer embroidered floral suite. And you better believe there were shimmery, colorful streamers and drag performers at the reception.
5: Sophisticated Backyard Wedding with Seriously Stunning Style Moments

This one’s for all the small-town high school sweethearts out there 🩵.
Eleanor + Dillon’s dreamy swan-adorned backyard celebration leaned into an aesthetic that the wedding’s florist called “Ralph Lauren meets English Garden Tea Party.” Eleanor wore a spectacular swan dress to the rehearsal dinner that inspired a whole host of sweet + elegant swan details throughout the design of the Big Day. Expansive city style coupled with a charming hometown feel? Perfection.
4: The Drummer From Halestorm Gets Hitched!

When Arejay Hale (drummer for the Grammy Award-winning rock band Halestorm) tied the knot with actress + stunt performer Emily Watson, their wedding truly topped the charts.
The moody + romantic Nashville “I do’s” were pure autumnal romance in blush, champagne, and earth tones. We LOVED the hints of moody black and sparkle that gave the day a rock n roll edge. Oh, and Emily’s reception mini dress is not to be missed.
3: Influencer Nicole Isaacs’ Ethereal Beach Wedding

Influencer Nicole Isaacs has “mermaid” in her Instagram bio, so you better believe her all-white Cabo beach wedding was full of mystical-yet-elegant mermaid vibes.
A jaw dropping pearl reception dress. Champagne in seashell coupes. And those FLOWERS. The sun danced on the sea during the ceremony And beside the ocean after dusk, the whole reception had a magical glow.
2: Married on Paddle Boards in the Middle of a Lake

With over 1.5 million views on IG, Kirby + Corey’s totally unique outdoorsy Texas wedding blew us all out of the water, so to speak 😉.
These two mixed weddings with water sports when they put all of their nearest + dearest into canoes + kayaks, paddled out, and held their ceremony on paddle boards in the middle of Austin’s Lady Bird Lake! Then? Kirby rocked a GORGEOUS baby blue wedding gown for the reception.
1: Aviator Nation Founder Paige Mycoskie’s Beachfront Festival Wedding

Coming at #1? It’s this gorgeous music festival inspired destination celebration!
Paige Mycoskie, founder of California lifestyle brand Aviator Nation, married Jessica Martin in Mexico, and the whole thing was an elaborate shimmery seaside jungle dream. The luxe oceanfront ceremony was full of gold, green velvet, and gorgeous floral creations. Paige stunned in a sparkly sheer gown while Jessica went with something fabulous + feathery. And the reception? All we’ve got to say is: Giant white tiger wedding cake; fireworks; *actual* music festival on the beach.
