When a location is as pretty as Guildwood Park (located in Ontario, Canada), you definitely want to allow it to do most of the talking. And that’s precisely what Ayyyna + Michael did for their engagement session with Purple Tree Photography, opting to let the park’s stunning architecture, and its blossoming gardens, shine. Ayyyna wore a beautiful gray gown by Narces, paired with a simple crown of lilac + greenery, both of which we love so much. But most of all, we’re smitten with the way she + Michael look at each other; and how their love radiates right through these lovely images!
The only extra needed? A pretty bouquet filled with lovely spring blooms!
Dying over the detailed bodice on Ayyyna’s dress!
Let’s end this feature – and the week! – with the sweet story of how Michael proposed to Ayyyna (as told by Ayyyna):
Apparently everyone knew that Michael was going to propose a year in advance. I still can’t wrap my mind around it, as I didn’t suspect anything for the whole year. I was still in the university finishing my undergraduate, and didn’t even think about marriage for a minute. Later I learned that he took my only ring and brought it to the goldsmith to order an engagement ring. Funny how I didn’t notice all the engagement rings Google ads surfacing in our browsers and social media as he was doing his research online.
After my graduation, we started planning our grande trip to Europe – Michael’s present to me for my birthday. It was in October when we headed to Lake Como in Italy – the place I wanted to visit so much. Michael was carrying the ring in his pocket in case so he could pop the question at the right time. He knew it was it when we stopped for a rest at an isolated corner of the lake facing mountains and swans swimming peacefully closer to a shore. He then suddenly sat on his knee … and this is how our story began :)
Congrats you two! Wishing you so much love + happiness!
