WALNUT WAY FARM WEDDINGS in Shelbyville, Kentucky has been voted the Most Gorgeous Place to Get Married in Kentucky by PureWow.com, and the Best Place to Get Married In Kentucky by Frommers.com.
The Barn at Flanagan Farm & The Barn on Walnut Hill in Maine are both fabulous barn venues. In my wedding venue search, I had visited lots of barns in the Northeast and Flanagan Farm was (by far) the best I had seen. We are so happy with our choice! @thebarnatflanaganfarm @thebarnonwalnuthill
Oh my gosh I am in love with these venues. They are so unbelievably stunning! Though I have to admit the Moody Mountain barn looks particularly stunning – I love the use of the fairy lights – they really add a romantic touch to the venue. Not to mention the view and surrounding hills and meadows look like something from a far off fairytale land. I used to think for my wedding that I’d go for a traditional extravagant ‘manicured’ look, but seeing posts like this has made me think I’d actually like to go for something far more relaxed and rural-esque. The only problem is I’m not completely sure about the venue. Ideally I’d love somewhere that reflects the country chic feel of this shoot, but as I live in England I’m very cautious about going for the whole marquee/barn vibes with wooden tables etc simply because of the weather – as I have been to weddings like this where the weather has been so dire that people have left much earlier than they normally would have! Because of this I really feel like a hotel wedding is the way to go – but I want to keep it rural ‘oldy worldly’ so to speak. Does anyone here know of any good places in Warwickshire in England? (This is near where the wedding will be held). I read about somewhere called Nailcote Hall on another site, does anyone know of any weddings that have been held there? I would absolutely love people’s advice here because I simply adore this blog and the people on it x
The Barn at Second Wind In Sacramento, Ca! Just had my wedding there 3 weeks ago and it was EVERYTHING!! Ramble Creek Vineyard and Events is everything you could ever dream of in a wedding venue. The property, the bridal suite, the cuisine. It’s too die for.. Right at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in Athens, TN.
I like your lengthy list of the ideal farm wedding venues to look out for. Evergreen memorial park looks so good, it has the facade of a provincial wedding venue, and the translucent glare, cozy atmosphere, and natural lighting from the sun just adds to a lifechanging experience. If my brother is going for that Southern-themed wedding, I will suggest this to him.
You have some beautiful Barns in amazing locations Nation wide. I noticed their aren’t any from Pennsylvania though? May I humbly add the Apple Barn at https://huckleberrymountainorchard.com/
We have just completed renovation of this Historic Barn. We have several Weddings set up under tents and in and around the Barn now for Social Distancing precautions.

Silver Hearth Lodge is a big red barn-inspired wedding venue that is located on the very top of Bent Mountain, VA. …it is the ONLY private mountain top wedding venue in the entire southeastern US. SHL hosts ONLY weddings and the venue is more accurately described as a 40 acre wedding campus…a photographer described it as an “adult Disney World for weddings!”
SHL features: views of the Blue Ridge Mountain tops for more than 50 miles, the Sacred Heart Chapel – Virginia’s smallest church, a Ralph Lauren inspired overnight glamping cabin, a Starbucks featured coffee bar and a true replica of a Native American Fire Circle…just a few of it’s more popular attributes. Lots of info. is posted on the SHL Fb page and also on their website. Happy exploring the best of the barn wedding venues!
Stoltzfus Home and Gardens in Gordonville, PA is spectacular! The barns were built in the 1800’s and are authentic! Just beautiful!
