Romantic Wedding Inspiration from The Great Gatsby

Guys, is it cool if we gush for just a second? Because this shoot – a peek into the recent Three Nails Workshop – is just so good. And since we’re sure you’re all going to agree with abandon, we’re feeling pretty excited to share that Hunter (of Three Nails) is giving away one seat to his next workshop (that is already sold out!) at the end of the post. So photogs, be sure not to miss the entry details!

Ok, floating back down to reality – and the prettiness before us – we’ll admit one thing, we’re Gatsby obsessed. So an editorial filled with 1920’s-style fashion + design is already bound to grab our attention. And when we heard that Hunter built all of these different sets (including two 11′ tall moons + a massive wall covered completely in molding!) our minds were only further blown. There’s confetti, sequins, tulle, candlelight, and enough gold details to make a girl giddy! And since we know that all things art-deco and 20’s-themed are popular forms of wedding inspiration, we’re hoping to see lots of fun weddings in the near future that incorporate a pretty thing or two from this stunning editorial.

This dreamy setting makes us fall deeply in love with the idea of a candlelit indoor ceremony!

From Hunter, So the models would actually get in “character” throughout the shoot, I blared the dance songs from The Great Gatsby soundtrack and they all danced together while people threw confetti into the air. It was so surreal! It literally felt like we were back in the 1920’s.
