Inspiration Board #35: Birds of a Feather

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. The weather was beyond perfect here in LA, so we spent most of the weekend outside and at the beach – it really feels like summer now + loving it! :) I’ve been collecting lots of photos of feathers lately, and they are the inspiration for today’s board. I think there are some fun ways you can incorporate them and love this palette of peach, blue, green, and brown used for this board. Anyone incorporating feathers into their wedding?

We incorporated guinea fowl feathers in our wedding invitations, on my garter and my hair flower – while subtle, I really loved the rustic, polkadotted edge it gave.

  11. my mother-in-law and I worked with peacock feathers for my husband and my December 4th wedding- choosing peacock because of the rich jewel tones and offsetting them with baby’s breath flowers- beautiful for a dreary month!
