Adriana + Michael’s engagement got off to an exhilarating start. Michael asked Adriana to marry him under the stars in April of 2021…right after bungee-jumping over 400 feet off of Arizona’s Navajo Bridge.
Adriana + Michael are both from North Carolina. When it came to planning their wedding, their adventurous streak took a back seat and homegrown Southern whimsy took the wheel. The couple was excited to combine elegance and natural beauty by gathering their friends and loved ones at The Cornealius Properties in the gorgeous forests of their home state as the leaves were changing. Working with local vendors was important to them, too, in accomplishing a real, local experience for their guests on the day.
Their romantic, earthy celebration came together beautifully with the help of Honey + Thyme Events, and Shoot With Bliss was there to capture every warm and whimsical moment.

And the floral installations and aisle arrangements add autumnal magic to the earthy vibe.

Curated Events Raleigh filled the reception with delicate, whimsical touches like tinted glassware and gold flatware that played into the gorgeous neutral floral palette. And details like the Spanish moss hanging from the chandeliers made this wedding into the immersive Southern fairytale it is.

The couple’s chic yet organic vision was echoed in this beautiful cake by Flour & Batter.
A mid-party visit from food truck Levy’s Jerkstand was a delicious nod to Adriana’s Jamaican heritage!

And a vintage Rolls Royce to carry the couple away in style.
