We have a gorgeous, free-spirited wedding weekend that you need to see.
Professional skier Lexi Dupont met her now-husband Matt on a heli-skiing trip in Alaska, so it only makes sense that their “I do’s” would be a total adventure.
With Idaho’s stunning Sawtooth Mountains as a backdrop, the couple collaborated with Sprout Design to create a dreamy days-long celebration that felt “sacred but rowdy.”
“The most important thing was to take advantage of this epic opportunity for connection,” say Lexi + Matt. “The entire weekend was orchestrated around connection and our guest meeting someone they didn’t know before. With fun games, adventures, experiences, and dress up themes to strengthen bonds and expand our web of family and friends.”
All of those lucky guests got to stay together in a gorgeous glamping village that Pine & Dew created. There was a romantic rehearsal dinner at Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch. There was also a “radical self expression”-themed welcome party with killer outfits and fun festival vibes where guests could let loose and get to know each other.
And the wedding itself? Lexi + Matt used a “Western Adventure Chic” aesthetic as the day’s guiding principal. The circular ceremony was held on a secret + secluded property and packed with significance. Then, back at Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch, guests enjoyed a celebration full of organic design details that highlighted the glorious natural setting.
Sofia DeWolfe took so many stunning photos that we can’t wait to show you—you might even spot some famous faces in the crowd!
So saddle up, grab a chic cowboy look or your funkiest festival wear and prepare to fall in love with Lexi + Matt’s magical wedding weekend!
The Rehearsal Dinner

We are 100% obsessed with Lexi’s funky rehearsal dinner look! The embroidery! The cutouts! The tailored silhouette! Such a unique take on pre-wedding bridal style.

Bee & Bungalow was in charge of the weekend’s paper goods including these rough-edged minimalist rehearsal dinner menus.
The Welcome Party

Okay, first of all: these incredible looks! Lexi + Matt totally set the tone for the “radical self expression” theme of the evening with these sparky red outfits and mirrored, heart-shaped headdresses.
Second of all: how adorable is the glamping village that Pine & Dew created for all of Lexi + Matt’s guests! What a perfect little pop-up community!

Lexi was absolutely right: this look demands a pair of white cowgirl boots and a bold red lip!

Into the idea of gathering all of your favorite people under the stars for your Big Day like Lexi + Matt did? Check out this festival-inspired glamping wedding for even more inspo!

Actress + dancer Julianne Hough looked fabulously floral in this sequin Naeem Khan jumpsuit. And Cologne Trude—co-owner of Show Me Your Mumu—stunned in the brand’s sparkly Spears Embellished Romper.

The Big Day

We spy an iconic, pearly pair of wedding heels by Jimmy Choo!

We love the sophisticated simplicity of elegant wedding dresses like Lexi’s off-the-shoulder Savannah Miller gown from Julietta Bridal. Totally timeless.

Lexi’s lovely low bun was the work of Mane Muse, and Meredith Skillman created her natural wedding makeup look.

This amazing shot of everyone’s wedding boots really captured the “Western Adventure Chic” vibe of Lexi + Matt’s day.

We are LOVING the eclectic + rustic aesthetic of all of these warm, gold tone bridesmaid dresses! All the different textures, patterns, lengths, and silhouettes all coming together perfectly: Lexi’s crew absolutely nailed the mismatched bridal party palette.

Bloom Theory was behind they joyfully colorful curated wildflower feel of the day’s floral creations.

Pro skiing fans will no doubt spot Hedvig Wessel, Tatum Monod, and McKenna Peterson in Lexi’s “I Do Crew.”

The Ceremony

A setting this glorious definitely calls for some creative ceremony seating. Love that Lexi + Matt said “I do” literally surrounded by their loved ones.

So clever of Lexi + Matt to have some super cute paper parasols on hand to keep the sun off of their guests during the ceremony.

Lexi’s dreamy embroidered wedding veil has us absolutely speechless.

Our Favorite Memory
The ceremony was by far the most profound moment of my life. The location! The music! The ceremony in a circle! The completely original way of expressing and cementing our love and vows to each other! Our sisters and our life long spiritual guides leading us. The water ceremony! All of it was original and very much a symbol of our love for each other. It was super powerful!

We love it when a groom joins his bride in an all-white wedding day look! This eclectic, ethereal garden wedding is another great example.

Photographer Sofia DeWolfe called Lexi + Matt’s wedding “an epic celebration of love” and we can totally see why 🥹.

Pro surfers Koa Smith and Travis Smith traded their boards in for boots for buddy Matt’s Big Day. Check out our collection of groomsmen looks your crew will love to get your fave fellas feeling as sharp as Matt’s boys obviously did in these b+w western outfits.

Check out this rustic western wedding for even more inspo if you’re loving Lexi’s embroidered veil as much as we are.

The Reception

The happy couple rolled up to the reception in style, perched on the back seat of a powder pink convertible from Bennyz Rod Shop.

“We chose Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch because it is located at the foot hills of the Sawtooth Mountains, where I have spent my life skiing, hiking and exploring,” says Lexi. “The Sawtooth Valley is our home, and Rocky Mountain Ranch was the perfect venue to show our friends from near and far where we come from.”

“The design elements that stood out the most to me was how we made everything feel very organic,” Lexi remembers. “The tent from That’s Entertainment matched the mountains, the flowers looked and felt like wild flowers or as if they were coming out of the ground—the absence of plastic or anything artificial.”
Also, we’re loving the sunny pops of yellow in the linens from Flying China, Theoni Collection, and BBJ La Tavola.

Show Me Your Mumu’s co-owner Cologne Trude stunned again in this all-black western chic look. So fun to see Cologne in wedding guest mode this time since we shared her Malibu Barbie bridal shower and her bohemian 70’s inspired Hawai’i wedding a few years ago!

Fabulous furniture moments like this cozy-yet-rustic tobacco tone seating banquette were created by Blush Creek, Studio Eleven, and The EVENT.

Our Advice
The advice I would give to future couples is before you do anything, sit down together and get very clear on your intentions together. Matt and I pulled out a piece of paper and drew a big circle in the middle. We traded off writing words in the center of what was important to us and words outside the circle of what were hard No’s. For example, connection, love, music, dancing, laughter, adventure, easy going went in the middle. Words like plastic, bad attitudes, disconnect, frustration, went outside the circle. It sounds like a therapy exercise because it is haha. But wow did it help us to stay our course, remember whats important and see the planning process as an opportunity to grow closer together. Remember this is the best time of your life so surrender and enjoy it!

Why have a wedding cake when you can have a GIANT key lime pie?!
Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch catered the day’s delicious eats while A Moveable Feast supplemented snacking with a cheese board and Roadbars kept the wedding cocktails flowing.

How perfect is Lexi’s pearly beaded reception dress from Clio Peppiatt! Love the way it glows + shimmers in the festive lighting from Edge Event Productions.

Congratulaations, Lexi + Matt. Your “sacred but rowdy” wedding weekend was a chic + adventurous western dream! Wishing you both nothing but happiness!
