Eli and Anthony share an immense love for the Milwaukee Bucks, and attended just about every basketball game that lead to their 2021 World Championship win! When looking for wedding venues, it was a given they’d select the historical music venue Turner Hall Ballroom…a neighbor to the Milwaukee Bucks home, Fiserv Forum.
Another reason why Eli and Anthony chose Turner Hall Ballroom was their love of all things whimsical, vintage and eclectic. The couple chose to completely lean into fall with the warmest color palette and velvet, vintage details. and so did all of the natural candlelight – beaming from antique gas lamps.
These two have an undeniable style and confidence that’s contagious! The rooftop portraits, overlooking their beloved Fiserv Forum, were a true highlight and thank goodness photographer Mann Frau was there to take all the dreamy photos you are about to witness!

E + A shared with us their inspiration for their wedding and spoke a bit on the personal touches they sprinkled throughout!
“Our motive for the day was that if any friend/family member were to walk into the wedding and have to guess who was getting married without knowing- they’d respond, “Oh this is totally Eli and Anthony’s wedding, hands down”. We’ve always had an admiration for antiques, in fact, some of our first dates were spent frequenting Milwaukee antique shops. That was the general vibe we went for- from the furniture, dinnerware, candelabras, and beyond. We both have a huge passion for music so we created playlists for every moment of the weekend. We love tattoos so we had our tattoo artist design temporary tattoo designs themed around us for all the guests. Our pup, Kona, is our life and we had him by our side through the ceremony (and obviously had a tattoo designed of him too). Making the day feel personal to us was a huge driving factor and thanks to our incredible team of vendors and planner- we did just that.”

Okay let’s finally talk about this dress! The bride shared with us that this beautiful lace gown by Rue de Seine immediately caught her eye:
“I saw a picture of the Avril gown a few years ago and literally dreamed about it. Once wedding planning commenced I google searched the photo which led me to the designer Rue de Seine. Alice in Ivory in Chicago carried the designer and even after trying on 9 dresses, the Avril was still the only one that brought me to tears!”
This bride knew how to accessorize! This chic, felt bridal hat from Gigi Pip added major flare!
The Bridal Party
These velvet mismatched bridesmaid dresses from BHLDN stole the show at the music hall reception!

This wild bunch looks like they are ready to celebrate!
There were so many moments we caught ourselves getting emotional looking around the room, thinking that this is such a once in a lifetime moment that we have all our closest friends and family together in one room. This feeling was beyond special after postponing from Covid because for so long we really couldn’t imagine what this day would end up looking like. We felt so much love. And the dancing, we love to dance.
These two truly couldn’t look happier!
The Reception
Bird and Bumble handled all things florals while Rosewood Weddings took care of planning and the entire event design… and neither disappointed!
The natural candlelight beaming from antique gas lamps really heightened the dreaminess!
You simply can never go wrong with a grazing table!
Have fun and don’t let the nitty gritty details drive you insane. All of the things we stressed about the months leading up didn’t even cross our mind that night because we were too busy dancing. Also, pray there’s not another pandemic in our lifetime :)
