Nothing brings people together like a weekend away on a ranch—unless you add a wedding to the mix, of course! Emily + Eamon wed at California Ranch Events where they celebrated with people they love and lots of dancing under the stars. We love how they brought in modern + tropical details to a rustic venue to make it something so totally unique. When it came down to it, E + E were up for nixing several traditional elements in favor of spending more time with guests doing one thing they love the most:
Eamon and I are the happiest when good music is on, so a night full of dancing was 100% important to us! During the reception, we skipped the bouquet toss, money dance, cake cutting, and formal family photos just to optimize our dance floor time with our friends and family! We are insanely lucky to have so many beautiful people in our lives who support our love. We didn’t know until after, but we realized it why we decided to have a wedding versus to elope.
With planning by E Events Co. and photos by Alyssa Luzaich Photography, we’re excited to give you a look at E + E’s dreamy day!
For all the modern romantics out there—this invitation suite from Minted is just perfect!
The Stylish Duo
Don’t they make a great pair? And—loving how they elevated the traditional bride + groom look for something just a little bit more personalized.
Emily fit the “dream bride” bill in Made With Love’s Stevie Gown from Lovely Bride!
Meanwhile, Eamon’s navy windowpane suit from Indochino looks sooo good with that floral tie!
The Bridal Party
Look at this crew!
The ladies all chose their own dresses and they look so great together!
Ceremony in the Rolling Hills
Have you noticed how The Floral Times effortlessly brought a tropical touch to the rustic day? Such a fun + unexpected combination!

The Newlyweds!
LOVE this photo. And how gorgeous is Emily’s gold crown by Katy Howieson?
Fun! Love this Penny and Co. photo booth!
Walking into the middle of the dance floor after we were introduced as husband and wife for the first time and hearing everyone's roaring, loud avalanche of love. That moment was indescribable. Highlights were: an epic soul train forming when the DJ played Give It To Me Baby by Rick James, Eamon taking the mic and rapping to Regulate by Warren G & Nate Dogg from beginning to end, and everyone belting out to our last song of the night, Bohemian Rhapsody!
The Rustic Reception
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed bites from On The Vine Catering on family-style tables in front of the barn.
The darling reception was made all the more cute with tabletop + furniture rentals from Pleasanton Event Rentals!
I know it can be difficult, but remember to slow down and remember to breathe as the final days before your wedding arrives. Take all the emotions you're feeling and share them with your partner. This matters more than finalizing all the tiny wedding details. Your partner might not admit it, but they want to know what you're thinking and feeling before you two officially say "I do." And you should know what they're thinking and feeling!
Don't be afraid to ask for help. Trust your bridal team, parents, or wedding coordinator to take over the logistical stuff— they'll get the job done! In the end, it will all fall in place and even if it doesn't, it'll still be the absolute best day of your life.
