I have such a lovely barn wedding to share with you guys today – and the bride wore green wedding shoes :) Photographed by the talented Cameron Ingalls, the wedding took place at the Santa Margarita Ranch in Central California. A bit about the day from Emily Kelly (their planner):
This was such a fun wedding to plan with Leah + Neal – they had so many fantastic, truly personal ideas, so in the end we were able to create a beautiful day that was an undeniable reflection of the two of them…. Every detail had a role in that, from the beer brewed by Neal, the groom (an avid and talented homebrewer), the homemade limoncello and welcome treats by Leah, the bride (an incredible cook and food writer), the farmer’s market touches in the printed materials, seed packets for each guest and vintage seed packet table signs (also a reflection of their passion for the freshest, local foods), the desserts made from their cherished family recipes, to the collection of mismatched vintage napkins in various green patterns collected and sewn over the past year by Leah and her mother. Truly an honor to have been a part of it!
How great are these beer bottle labels?! Happily Ever Amber? I’ll take one! The other beer is ‘Til Death Do Us Porter :)  Designed by Emily Kelly.
Barns are just so pretty! I don’t think I’ll ever tire of them… Congrats to Leah + Neal!

i adore barn weddings…so many great details
What a beautifully rustic wedding! I love everything from the typewriter to the train tracks, to the ambiance of the barn itself. Congratulations to Leah and Neal!
The bright green is such a bold choice but looks GREAT with the rustic barn. How yummy do all of their food and drinks look?!
Absolut wonderful. You show the love of the people and the day! Have a good day, from Germany, Daliah
Sigh- I wish I had had a barn wedding. This wedding is perfect in every way possible!
Beautiful Cameron! Love all of the details and of course the Santa Margaria Ranch Barn!!
One of the most beautiful barn weddings I’ve seen! The details really make this wedding stand out. Gorgeous!
I love all of the printed details – they really pull it all together.
Gorgeous! I love barn weddings and their printed labels were definitely super cute.
What a beautiful wedding. I absolutely love those shoes! Any idea who makes them?
love barn weddings and love that they used green throughout the wedding!
Love this wedding and all the details! Who designed the invitations and programs?
The custom beer labels are so clever! Such a cute idea!
Who did the invitations?
Amazing details and images!! Love this wedding!
I would absolutely wear green shoes to get married. As a matter of fact, seeing the green converse in there, I’d probably wear my green converse to get married. Such gorgeous pictures! Your blog always makes me want to plan my wedding and get married NOW.
Erica and Courtney – the invites were done by the planner, Emily Kelly. They are beautiful! She also did the labels for the beer bottles and lemoncello – stunning!
Karin- Let me try to find out about the shoes for you!
Thanks everyone for the sweet comments!
Thanks for all of your awesome comments; it was an incredible day – better than we’d ever imagined it could be. My amazing husband actually made the beer and I made the limoncello; our wedding planner Emily made the fantastic labels and really helped us pull everything together.
Karin- the shoes are MizMooz. They have a number of styles in that color right now. An added bonus – they’re super comfy.
Also, the food was amazing. Pacific Harvest did an incredible job. I’m a food and wine writer and am very particular, and they helped customize our menu. If you’re getting married int he area, give them a shout.
whoa! That barn is awesome. I love the stone walls, wood beams, and the subtle light leaking through the ceiling.
OMG! Green shoes! Fabulous!
LOVE this wedding! I saved so many of these photos as future inspiration for my own! Thanks for sharing!
Oh, and, it goes without saying…but I needed to say it: Cameron is amazing! Such a joy to work with and our pictures truly captured how spectacular our day was. I can’t wait to see the rest.
Thanks for your fantastic site, Jen, it was a great source of inspiration throughout the planning process.
What an incredible venue! I love all of the exposed stone…

We’re the parents of the bride and our brand new son-in-law–We loved getting a preview of some of the wedding photos, especially some of the things we didn’t get to see because I was very much in the moment. As you can see, everything turned out just as planned. The creative efforts of Leah and Neal,Emily, Cameron, Pacific Harvest, an amazing venue, terrific music, and the most fabulous guests and weather made for an absolutely perfect day!!
What an amazing wedding. I am OBSESSED!! Any tips on how you made those place cards? That’s what I’ve been picturing for ours and now I can’t stop thinking about them!
SQUEALING over the paper products in this wedding. They are ah-mazing!
Leah – where is your lovely dress from? I am looking for something understated and classy and in struggle-town!
Gorgeous wedding! Congratulations
Seeing this wedding this morning was like finding manna in the desert. Love every single bit of it. So well done!
I’m wondering the same thing. Where is the dress from? It’s lovely.
Great details! Looks like a sweeeet wedding!
the perfect pair of green wedding shoes (hearts)
Jayne and Kelly- The dress is from J.Crew. It’s their Sophia long dress.
Neal and Leah,
Your wedding looked so dreamy! Love the whole concept and the barn was awesome! The two of you are darling and look so happy! I will share these with my family! Love to you both. Oh yes, the shoes!!!! and the tie!!!! Wow!
So beautiful & love those shoes!
I hadn’t read all of the information about the wedding before I looked at the pictures, and while looking I thought: that venue looks really familiar…my family owned that ranch (and I still have relatives that manage it) for many years before the current owner. I’ve always wanted to get married there and seeing these photos of Leah’s happy day makes me a little envious. :)
omg, this wedding took my breath away and that’s getting harder and harder to do these days! This is the type of wedding that makes me want to get into wedding planning!
Wow, what a awesome location for a wedding. The whole setting was so romantic and every little detail was amazing. I loved the picture of Leah and Neal dancing in the barn, so beautiful. All the photo’s were stunning. Their wedding invites were so unique and different, what a great idea.
Beautiful wedding! Does anybody have the contact information for this location? I am getting married next year, and would LOVE see this place. Thank YOU! :))
That first dance shot with the TS — BOMB.COM!! seriously, so sweet.
This wedding is stunning. I adore the green chuck taylors just hanging off the chair. Beautiful! Congrats to all involved
I would love to see the full invitation for this!! I live very far away, so it really wouldn’t be possible for me to use your planner, but would love to see the full wedding invitation to see how it was done. excellent idea.
Thank you all for your continued amazing and thoughtful comments. More info about our day is coming on my blog soon.
Johanna – here’s he HTTG page for the venue, which they created recently: http://www.herecomestheguide.com/location/detail/santa-margarita-ranch/
Kilo – our planner also does graphic design; here’s here wesbite: http://www.unsceneinc.com/.
Good luck brides!
This is amazing! Totally random question, but where did you find the little green glass tea light holders? They look vintage, very cool!
Thanks!
Where did you get your green shoes? My wedding is coming up in 5 weeks and I am desperately trying to find some green shoes and fell in love with yours! We are having a barn wedding too
@Nicki The votive holders we found online totally last minute. I’ll dig and see if I can find the name of the company.
@Jennifer The shoes were from Mizz Moos and were super comfy. I bought them from a small boutique in VT because they were the only store in the county that sold them in a 6. That said, the majority of their line is on Endless.com, which is great site because they ship you the shoes overnight (sometimes 2-day) for free and returns are fee and easy too!
Thanks for sharing with us this wonderful post. This wedding is absolutly fantastic.
I love your seed packets!!! I want to do something like that for my wedding this summer, how did you make those/get those?? Thank you!
Very nice photos!!!
