“Polka Cherry” – this chic + charming wedding editorial shot at La Ferme du Bois in Southern Burgundy, France – combined the darling dotted pattern with rich cherry reds and created a shoot with an undeniably European je ne sais quoi.
“Polka Cherry was born from a simple idea: to demonstrate how a timeless graphic detail such as the polka dot can become the foundation of a truly luxurious wedding aesthetic,” says designer + planner Céline of La Bricole, adding that the editorial’s overall vibe was “inspired by the retro elegance of cherries and the bold charm of iconic patterns.”
Bows. Gloves. Pearls. Vintage cars. The whole thing is like a scene from an iconic French film – one where the fashion is flawless, the beauty of the French countryside bowls you over, and the love story gives you butterflies.
“My intention was to explore the contrast between playful inspiration and elevated wedding design,” Céline shares. “Through thoughtful styling, refined materials, and a carefully curated colour palette, Polka Cherry transforms familiar motifs into a sophisticated and immersive wedding experience.”
The whole thing is fresh yet nostalgic, joyful yet sophisticated. And every shot from Camille Laurent tells a story.
“This editorial celebrates couples who are not afraid to embrace personality, colour and joy,” Céline says, “while seeking elegance, authenticity and meaning.”
