Pastels and rainbows and ruffles – oh my! This pastel rainbow wedding in Adelaide, Australia is something out of our childhood dreams. Wonderland Invites and Valentina Perez Imaging designed this stunning event at Chateau Apollo after noticing an interesting trend in the wedding industry. They found an increase in couples looking to explore using color in their weddings but feeling too nervous to actually execute it. This editorial shows just how magical (and realistic) a colorful wedding can be!
Valentina says, “I want to show them all [couples] that getting married doesn’t just mean. black and white. If your personalities radiate colour and sparkles, so be it! Go for it, be bold and brave to create a wedding day that reflects the two of you.”
In Loving Color
These purple invites are EVERYTHING! Invitations are one of the easiest ways to incorporate personality into your wedding day. It can be as funky and creative as you want! These purple, pink, and blue invitations will let your guests know that they’re in for the party of a lifetime.

Can we let you in on a little fun fact? In order to truly bring this styled shoot to life, Valentina Perez knew she needed a real couple to photograph. She reached out to her friends Karen and Nicolas to showcase their true love to the camera – and it couldn’t have gone any better! They described the day as almost a mini vow renewal, and they left the shoot even more in love than before.
Delicate draping orchids gave this colorful bouquet an elegant, timeless touch.
A New Take on Minimalism
Just because your wedding is colorful doesn’t mean it has to be huge. Color and minimalism can truly work together when you put your mind to it! We love how these ghost chairs and simple white table allow the floral centerpiece to be the focal point of the decor.
Here’s a fun idea: with a rainbow floral centerpiece, you can bring a whole new meaning to your seating arrangement. Know some people that always feel happy and light? Seat them with the yellow florals! Have an exceptionally regal friend in the group? Show them that you notice this quality by seating them with purple flowers!
