It’s official! Peach Fuzz is Pantone’s official color of the year for 2024 – which also marks the 25th anniversary of the company’s annual hue forecasting.
“Peach Fuzz brings belonging, inspires recalibration and an opportunity for nurturing, conjuring up an air of calm,” said Leatrice Eisman, Executive Director at the Pantone Color Institute, in a statement announcing the news. “Peach Fuzz awakens our senses to the comforting presence of tactility and cocooned warmth.”
We are VERY excited to see Peach Fuzz as the color this year as we think it’s the PERFECT color for weddings – and it’s a 180 from last year’s color of Viva Magenta. I mean, what if you wore a peach wedding dress?! We LOVE it. Especially as we are seeing more and more brides pick colorful wedding dresses.
Featuring layered tulle and a high-low skirt, this dreamy peach wedding gown paired perfectly with the overall whimsical-inspired design of the shoot. Pia from The Perfect Plan wanted to evoke a bright and colorful fairytale-esque setting so she teamed up with other Germany-based vendors, such as the talented florist Grimms Blumerie, to bring her vision to life. Their stately and Old-World-themed venue served as the perfect backdrop for enhancing their concept due it its brick stone interiors and lush gardens. “It was a total fairytale to shoot in this location,” says Pia.
Along with the stunning peach fuzz wedding gown and elegant venue, a white soft and airy off-the-shoulder wedding dress was also showcased. Both dresses looked equally beautiful against the floral backdrop (with so much peach!), which is also a must-see! Check out all the gorgeous details captured by Sinja Hemke Photography below.
Pantone Color of the Year 2024 Peach Fuzz for Your Wedding
Pressed flowers and watercolor floral illustrations were seen on invitations to help add to the shoot’s whimsical theme.
If going all out for a peach wedding dress is too much for you, you can wear a white dress with a colorful bouquet filled with peaches, pinks, blues and yellows.
Both wedding dresses were designed by the luxury evening wear designer, Millia London. While the peach number is better for achieving a statement wedding-day look, the off-the-shoulder dress is just as breathtaking, thanks to the gown’s romantic lightweight fabric.
We are seriously swooning over this wildflower-filled floral arch! With the pops of peach tulle, it definitely adds to the magic of this styled shoot. Don’t you agree?
